Visited today and really enjoyed the meal. The fish was fresh, the rolls were well balanced, and the presentation was lovely. Friendly service and a comfortable atmosphere. A solid spot for quality sushi. Will definitely come back.

Just ordered take out on a weeknight and live two miles away. After an hour, my sushi showed up warm and my shumai and satay cold. The shumai smelled like rotten shrimp so I didn’t eat it. The chicken skewers were deep fried (yuck), overcooked and tough. The sushi was meh.

The food at Sakura in Wakefield is absolutely incredible! Every single dish was packed with flavor, super fresh, and beautifully made. The sushi melted in your mouth, and every bite tasted like perfection. You can tell they use top-quality ingredients and put real care into everything they serve.
Honestly, hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had — everything came out perfectly prepared and full of flavor. I could eat here every week and never get tired of it. Highly recommend Sakura to anyone who loves amazing food! 🍣🔥
