i got 2 chicken broccoli alfredos and it legit smelled and tasted like throw up. the sauce was chunky it was just so bad. and then on top of it paid $50 for it. the absolute nerve to charge that much for 2 plates of puke.

Used to be great- now not so much. Food was terrible- Alfredo sauce had broken but the chefs don’t care here anymore. The counter staff is just rude to customers. I watched this go on over and over and no manager ever stepped in to “make things better”- this place is now a lost cause. Find better Italian food almost anywhere else now.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Sonny Noto's in Wakefield for many years, sometimes visiting more than once a week. The food is consistently great, and the service at the counter is usually solid.
However, there’s one issue that happens almost every time I dine in. When ordering with a group, the meals are almost never served at the same time. Even when we order the same dish, each plate comes out one by one, leaving one person eating while everyone else waits.
It’s honestly surprising, as no other restaurant I’ve been to does this. It’s become a bit of a joke among us regulars, but I do hope it’s something that can be addressed because everything else about the experience is excellent.

So it was my 1st time. Wasn't sure what to expect. Heard steak tips were good here. Walked in, 2 younger employees out front 1 counting tips on the counter the other sitting in the corner behind counter. Im at the counter i say hello.....nothing, no response.... silence.. also there is nobody in this place. It is empty! So this awkward silence continues, the 1 in the corner pops walks towards the back. I say THANKS, AND I WALK OUT THE DOOR.

I dined at the original East Boston location, when Grand Ma was there....Pretty sure the kids that served me at the new location were the ones running around with snots on their nose....I found the service lacking, atmosphere not accommodating ..... don't want to use racial overtones.....but I got that feeling......tips were excellent.....but if you aren't Caucasian, do not expect a welcoming atmosphere!

We had to get the car repaired a few towns over, and it was late in the day, and the mechanic recommended in this place as one of the places he recommended and we picked two of their sandwiches for dinner.
