I dined at the original East Boston location, when Grand Ma was there....Pretty sure the kids that served me at the new location were the ones running around with snots on their nose....I found the service lacking, atmosphere not accommodating ..... don't want to use racial overtones.....but I got that feeling......tips were excellent.....but if you aren't Caucasian, do not expect a welcoming atmosphere!

We had to get the car repaired a few towns over, and it was late in the day, and the mechanic recommended in this place as one of the places he recommended and we picked two of their sandwiches for dinner.

A huge THANK YOU to Sonny Noto's! They catered my daughter's graduation party and everything was outstanding. Our guests raved about the food, but it started with Inez patiently working with me on the menu and order. The day of the party, the hot food was piping hot and the suggestion to use the oven kept it hot while we started serving. We will forever be fans of Sonny Noto's!

Great little place, they have beer and wine, plus excellent food. I didn't like the atmosphere, it was like a pizza joint but was confusing as to whether you had to wait to be seated or order at the counter etc. I'd like it better if it was more like a diner where you sit anywhere and the server comes to your table. But it's not. You order at the counter like a pizza place, but then they bring the food to your table. I'm still not sure if they clear the table for you after you're done or not, since I saw a trash barrel on my way out, I cleared my own table. Then I didn't know what to do with the ceramic dishes, so I left them on top of the barrel...
Last visit seemed like there may be a new owner. Food was good but significantly less than normal with smaller serving sizes

Always have loved this place. It’s been a while since we have been here but I just walked in to grab a takeout order and the kid in the back is putting a salad together barehanded, no gloves at all. Just grabbing and placing cherry tomatoes into the salad. And we ordered salads. Crazy.
