We actually hit Happy Hour, and there's a Happy Hour bites menu. Oysters $1 each/Roasted Oysters $4 each & octopus skewer which I think was also $4. The swordfish melted in your mouth & the salmon over seasonal Risotto was made to perfection.

Rest room was soo disgusting and gross. They need to make sure it’s clean all the time. I will never go back ever again.

It is disappointing to write this review, as my partner and I had anticipated dining at Tonno for several weeks, only to find the experience pretty mediocre.

We opted for three petite entrees to sample a range of their offerings: the Bolognese, Sunday sauce, and Swordfish. The Sunday sauce, supposed to be a rich and iconic Italian-American staple, fell flat and lacked a lot of flavor (basically Market Basket Ragu). The bolognese was parse on meat and had an strange creamy consistency. Lastly, the fish, while cooked well, it was overwhelmed by the amount of capers, imparting a sour flavor to the dish.

Our server appeared to be super busy, and they didn't check-in on us during our meal or refresh our drinks. Bummer!

Don’t think I would go here again. I don’t think our server ever smiled once, she seemed annoyed from the start. The garlic bread was the saving grace, but the rest of my parties meals were not great. My spaghetti was like glue with whole chunks of pepper in it making it very unsavory to eat. And 28 dollars no less. Would try somewhere else next time.

Loved spending Mothers’s Day here. Chicken parmigiana was delicious. Seasonal sangria was great as well. Service was attentive to the customer.

Everything here was outstanding. My fellow diners felt the same way.

A last minute decision to attempt to find a restaurant on Easter that without a reservation you could get in. At 3:pm today we called and were elated when we were told to come on over. The service and food were exceptional. Our server at the high top tables near the bar didn't miss a beat. She was just amazed and we went with her recommendations without hesitation. My Rib eye was insanely delicious cooked to perfection. My BFFs Tuna Steak was equally amazing. Don't get me started on their blood orange coconut margarita. Probably the BEST margarita I've had in years. We cannot wait to return. I wish we weren't heading home to Easter candy because their desserts looked Heavenly especially the white chocolate bread pudding.

Had a private lunch here on Sunday and everyone is still raving about Tonno. The service was impeccable the food was fantastic. Olivia, the event coordinator really went above and beyond for us. We cannot wait to go back and try different entrees. Everything truly was unmatched. Highly recommend hosting your next event with Tonno!

Tonno is consistently excellent across the board. I always love going there and I’m never disappointed.

We have been to the Gloucester location multiple times. We decided to try Wakefield location and had originally met some friends here in July for my wife's birthday. We all had amazing meals, drinks and service was great. We were all pleasantly surprised.

Last night we got delayed and all couldn't go out until 8 and decided to try Tonno again. The same experience as the 1st time. Everything from the pork, cioppino, Bolognese & gnocchi were all amazing. Our friends who had never been there kept saying it was so good they're making a point to go again.
