Don’t think I would go here again. I don’t think our server ever smiled once, she seemed annoyed from the start. The garlic bread was the saving grace, but the rest of my parties meals were not great. My spaghetti was like glue with whole chunks of pepper in it making it very unsavory to eat. And 28 dollars no less. Would try somewhere else next time.

Loved spending Mothers’s Day here. Chicken parmigiana was delicious. Seasonal sangria was great as well. Service was attentive to the customer.

Everything here was outstanding. My fellow diners felt the same way.

A last minute decision to attempt to find a restaurant on Easter that without a reservation you could get in. At 3:pm today we called and were elated when we were told to come on over. The service and food were exceptional. Our server at the high top tables near the bar didn't miss a beat. She was just amazed and we went with her recommendations without hesitation. My Rib eye was insanely delicious cooked to perfection. My BFFs Tuna Steak was equally amazing. Don't get me started on their blood orange coconut margarita. Probably the BEST margarita I've had in years. We cannot wait to return. I wish we weren't heading home to Easter candy because their desserts looked Heavenly especially the white chocolate bread pudding.

Had a private lunch here on Sunday and everyone is still raving about Tonno. The service was impeccable the food was fantastic. Olivia, the event coordinator really went above and beyond for us. We cannot wait to go back and try different entrees. Everything truly was unmatched. Highly recommend hosting your next event with Tonno!

Tonno is consistently excellent across the board. I always love going there and I’m never disappointed.

We have been to the Gloucester location multiple times. We decided to try Wakefield location and had originally met some friends here in July for my wife's birthday. We all had amazing meals, drinks and service was great. We were all pleasantly surprised.

Last night we got delayed and all couldn't go out until 8 and decided to try Tonno again. The same experience as the 1st time. Everything from the pork, cioppino, Bolognese & gnocchi were all amazing. Our friends who had never been there kept saying it was so good they're making a point to go again.

We dined here just last night for our belated anniversary and I beelined it to Google to leave a review because I was so blown away by our dinner. We've lived in Melrose for a few years and have heard of Tonno but for some reason just never tried it until yesterday.
We ordered the clams appetizer, crab cake special, squid ink spaghetti with calamari and shrimp, and halibut with mashed potato and asparagus over lobster bisque. Our waiter, Marcus, was phenomenal (!!!) and also treated us to a delicious flourless chocolate cake for our celebration. Everything was so, so flavorful. And honestly, our meal at Tonno last night was better than anywhere I've eaten in the North End lately.

Good place to eat! Make sure to study the menu before ordering your dishes.

Disappointing experience. The atmosphere is nice, but the food is really hit or miss. The osso bucco and risotto were totally flavorless and the octopus was overcooked. Some of the other dishes were good though.

Service was average overall. We were never asked if we wanted any refills on drinks. I would still expect someone to ask even if we are not drinking alcohol, and we left super thirsty which was not the best experience. It seemed like the other waiters were really attentive with their tables though and we just had bad luck.

We were not sat by the bar area but when we walked out it smelled like a toilet through the entire walk to the exit which is the last memory I now have of Tonno. Kind of a bummer.

Food was rancid and inedible. The chicken parm had a disgusting odor as soon as I opened the container. Clearly old chicken. The salad with salami and prosciutto had a side of dressing that was lumpy and also inedible. Second time....last time.
