I initially left a 3-star review out of respect for small businesses, despite the fact that the beef and mushrooms I ordered were overly greasy and lacked flavor…all I could taste was oil.
Instead of addressing the issue, the owner responded by asking whether I told someone or called, as if the quality of the food would’ve changed based on whether I spoke up. That’s not accountability. That’s deflection.
As a paying customer trying your food for the first time, my experience matters, whether I dine in or take out. Shifting the blame to the customer doesn’t resolve the issue. A sincere apology or acknowledgment would’ve gone a long way.

We ordered the D2 Dinner plate (General Tso) and the D12 plate (pork fried rice with 3 appetizers.). The pork fried rice was fresh with chunks of pork in it, the chicken fingers and crab ragoons were perfect! The General TSO chicken was perfectly made and the egg roll was amazing. We have found our new place to order Asian/Chinese food from! Very fresh and made to order.
Ordered takout for the first time this past weekend. Our food was very good, and ready when we picked it up. My only complaint was how loud and difficult it was to hear the woman on the phone when I called to place the order.

This place replaced my go to takeout place. The food is good especially salt and pepper chicken and fries. The downside of this place is the noise. The bar seems to attract young crowd.

Loved the Peking Ravioli! And the owner makes a great Manhattan! The bar is lively and the clientele is great. Good place for a drink and food.

Old chicken, why would you sell me this? Ordered D14 Rice is old, chicken is old and cold! I ordered a chicken lo mein, was given chicken fried rice. This is unacceptable.

WARNING: the fried Spring Rolls have shrimp in them.
I have a shellfish allergy and this fact was not made clear on the online ordering menu (toast; the website mentions shrimp if you go to the menu section but in my experience spring rolls are usually vegetarian and the online ordering system does not mention anything about shrimp hence why I ordered them). Thankfully my wife, who is vegetarian, bit into hers first or I would be writing this review from the emergency room. She was grossed out but otherwise okay.
PLEASE MAKE A NOTE ON THE TOAST MENU THAT THE SPRING ROLLS ARE NOT VEGETARIAN AND CONTAIN SHRIMP!!!
Otherwise the food was tasty. Fried rice had a nice smoky flavor and the scallion pancakes were spot on. Ginger scallion chicken was flavorful and the chicken was tender and juicy. I’ll probably try another order at some point minus the spring rolls…
