The food is great but be prepared to wait if they're busy because they have minimal staff

Best Chinese food in the area! We found this place when we moved to a nearby town over 6 years ago. When they shut down for COVID we tried a few other places with no luck. This is the only place we get Chinese from! We usually get take out so I can't comment on an in-restaurant experience, but the hosts are always friendly.

Showed up at 8 PM on a Saturday night (they close at midnight for reference) and the host told us we could only do takeout because there was no wait staff. Really?

Been going here for as long as I can remember, 20, 30 years. Stop in everytime we travel North on rt 1. Example we were there two times in 4 days this week!

Vegetarian options: I asked for tofu no meat low on soy sauce but full of flavor and they delivered! Just ask Sandy or Ming to help and tell them Bob and Alice send their xxxooo

Food was, at best, okay. Beef tastes like fish, absolutely disgusting. Bartender/waitress argued they have no fish??? What?
She was completely rude to me and my friend but super friendly and laughing with regulars. I asked for more napkins, and she said I had some (2 flimsy ones). Then proceeded to bring us 2. Would never recommend this place or go back.
However, if you want strong drinks that taste nothing like they are supposed to, then I would definitely recommend here.

Appetizers and Lobster Sauce are excellent. I asked for slight modifications on luncheon specials and they were fulfilled readily.

This review is based on my initial visit. Restaurant was clean, older furniture and decor that gave you a nostalgic feeling. I sat on the lounge side. The bartender Ming was a one man show. He did a good job managing all the orders from that side. Older crowd at the bar. Everyone appeared friendly. My chair was probably as old as I am. It was also very comfortable and relaxing. The one thing that really matters is the food! When try out new to me places, there are some staples that I get.Hot and Sour Soup was old school, had a very nice flavor with a kick to make your eyes water. Highly recommend!Egg Rolls are some of the best of the best. Traditional New England/Polynesian recipe that is heavy on celery and pork with a crispy outer layer. These are a must!Spareribs on the bone were meaty, tender while having a crisp on the outside, and full of flavor. Absolutely delicious!!Beef Teriyaki was moist, marinated throughout and very tasty. Very much recommend!Shrimp with Lobster Sauce was some of the darkest that I have had. The sauce was very much like the Lobster Sauce we grew up on. Had a very nice flavor to it. The Shrimp were only about 30 seconds overcooked but were still delicious. Also very much recommend this dish! For an old school place my only complaint was they didn't have hot tea. I don't think I got a Fortune cookie either. Overall it was a nice experience. Not a fancy night out, but good old school Chinese food in a happy atmosphere. Excited to try some of their other dishes.
