I love the overall vibe here! Great staff, bartenders etc etc. The bartenders remember your name and are very kind, which I appreciate. I had the pulled pork and asked for it on a pretzel bun. It was awesome! Mark always comes over and says hello to myself as well as my folks. They also frequently update their specials, which I recommend trying. Keep up the great work!

We eat at Tessie's 1-2X a month. The food has progressively gotten worse. We went there tonight for the last time. The burgers at one point were excellent... then they lost the recipes(true story) do they were just decent. For a place that is predominantly burgers, you would think they would get that right. WROG!!! Tonight the burger was what I imagine a Burger King or McDonalds burger would be. As thin as possible... 1/3 what they once were. Zero flavor. I will never eat there again. Such a shame because the staff is great but the owners have dropped the ball.

We tried for the 1st time and i ordered a spicy Paloma and steak frites and we shared the Good Fortune salad. My drink was missing the spice( loaded with alcohol 😋). The salad we were both excited about fell short( the spicy sesame ginger dressing) was missing all the above. And my cut of steak- overcooked and no flavor( i left steak on my plate 😢.

Nice pub-style fare for lunch and dinner! The serving staff were a little discombobulated but very friendly and sweet. Our food was excellent including the chocolate cake. We enjoyed sitting outside.
Went for a weekday lunch a couple of months ago, sat outside. Outside atmosphere is horrible due to the traffic and truck noise, you are sitting right on the sidewalk, corner of a busy intersection. Ordered the Briar Hill burger. Burger is swallowed by the bun. Thick, big bun, small burger. Flavor, once you get past all the bun bread, was a little underwhelming, needed more of the maple glaze. The little it had, was absorbed by the bun. Had potential if the burger to bun ratio was even and more maple glaze so it could be tasted. The fries were just your regular tasting fries, no complaints on those. My lunch partners thought their food was fine, a salad and a sammie with no bread (gluten free patron) but nothing great. App of fried pickles was just ok. Waitress was nice and attentive. I would try this place again, not the burgers, but am in no hurry to do so.

Vibrant and lively atmosphere. You feel like you're in the city without leaving the suburbs. The chipotle aioli on the Main St. sald is a wonderful dressing which packs a flavorful kick.

I really wanted to like Tessies. I had a great experience my first time there, but my second time was awful. My burger was served cold - like it had been sitting for longer than it had been since I placed my order. I mentioned it to the server, who said she would warm it up. I thought maybe I misunderstood, but nope - the same burger was served again, but this time scalding hot, fresh out of the microwave. I sent it back and they took it off the bill, but I left disappointed. Less of an issue, the kids hot dog has grill marks and kids Mac & cheese is heavy on garlic, both of which are no-go for most kids. 2 stars because the first time was good.
