Treat yourself to an incredible meal from this restaurant!! I have ordered from them a few times recently and each time the food was absolutely delicious. I have had the opportunity to eat at some of the finest restaurants in our area and I would rank this establishment right up there with the best!

Was passing through Wareham on a Tuesday afternoon, and the other restaurants I had thought about going to for lunch were closed, so my husband spotted the Ameriana Cafe down a short street. It looked like a casual, outdoor cafe where we could grab a quick bite. Figuring we'd get what we get and not get upset, we pulled in hoping the food would be adequate. Wow! The food was outstanding! A scratch kitchen where the quality and care for food shines through. My husband and I split a fish and a corned beef sandwich. Both were outstanding, perfectly prepared. We are both "foodies" and absolutely love when a restaurant really takes pride in serving fresh ingredients and preparing them well. Service was great too! What a nice discovery. We'll be back!

We wanted to dine in a place that would be casual and friendly. That’s exactly how it was. The food was delicious like grandma would make. We asked for a substitution for one dish and it was no problem at all. The service was quick and our waitress was super friendly. They have local brews from Buzzards Bay Brewing. They offered an interesting summer strawberry micro brew wine that was fabulous. The area is outside covered by a huge tent and umbrellas over some tables, so you are mostly in the shade. The area is well decorated with beautiful flowers. They do accept reservations. They do stay open longer than it says on the website. The website is not updated as the picture on there is not as nice as it is really is. We will definitely come back.

Do you want fresh, imaginative food? Look no further! This little "hole in the wall" may skip your attention as you drive by but don't let its size fool you. Everything I have had here is tastefully created with the finest ingredients and the best 2 chefs. And they are kind, wonderful people, Karen and Peter, the owners. Even my granddog, Radar, loves to visit! And if you are really lucky, peanut butter and jelly smashburger may be on the specials menu! My fav!
