Stopped in on a Thursday afternoon around 3-4 pm. The place was empty. Service was quick. Food was quick. Coleslaw is sweet. Clam strips were good, surprisingly. Clam cakes not so great, had almost no clams in them. The fish looked good. Prices were reasonable, portion size was generous.
Super pleasant experience ordering takeout. Food is excellent with a nice variety of seafood, salads and a few chicken and burger options. You don't need a flashy LED sign to have great seafood on Cranberry Highway.
A good fish n chip can make or break a joint. Its of course has to have fresh sweet flaky haddock with a crunchy crispy batter. Whether New England style thin or traditional English thick batter it can't be oily and most of all it has to stick to the fish when I break off a piece.
