Honestly I was dubious when I looked at the menu online. A place on the river with prices that HAD to be wrong (like 20 years ago prices). Me and two friends went on the recommendation of a BNB host. No credit cards - cash only (there is an ATM in the lobby). We were warmly greeted and I have to say that the service was outstanding. A glass of wine, a Manhattan and a glass of water from my healthy friend started the night. Two clam chowders - not bad, not great. We all had the fish and chips and all of us agreed that it was very good. Now get this - the bill was $87 for three of us. I have no idea how this place does it - but it was just perfect.

My husband and I went for an early valentines dinner. When you walk in it is so cozy and adorable. From the decor to the candles it was perfect. A very kind man got us our drinks. A woman very pretty and happy welcomed us and was our waitress. She was great. The food was so yummy! I can't wait to go back!!!

I enjoyed my meal. I had the coquille St. Jacques. It was a small portion. I suppose the price was low enough, but have had a lot more scallops for 23 dollars in nearby restaurants. My friend had the same. We had enough room for the small desserts which were delicious. I will return for Italian next time or try something else. I heard not all portions are small.

Could not recommend this restaurant enough; truly a hidden gem of the area. My husband and I were passing through because we heard about it online and we were blown away by the experience. The wait staff was extremely thorough, friendly, and attentive. The restaurant had such a warm and cozy atmosphere. To top it off we paid $55 for an appetizer, a large salad, and two entrées. The portions were large and tasted like a home cooked meal. Any other restaurant today you’d pay double the price and the food would be average. They also have unique drink and dessert selections such as a Roy Rodgers cola and three dollar cupcake sized desserts that you can’t find anywhere else. The owner was also a sweetheart; you can tell she really cares for people. If I could give this place 1 million stars I would.

Only open Wed, Thur, Fri and Sat with limited tables and booths, so use call ahead seating starting at 4:30 Wed. Have been coming here for years and am always amazed at their consistent standards for affordable FINE dining. See you there on our next visit Jean and Steve.

What an adorable place! Definitely a hidden gem in the area. The service was probably the best I’ve ever received. All the workers were extremely kind. Definitely call ahead to have a reservation it is small and limited seating. Food was great quality and a reasonable price. Drinks were very affordable and fantastic as well. Will be returning.

We were looking forward to a nice night out for our anniversary. Despite calling hours ahead for seating, we waited at the door for 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. There appeared to be one server and he told us that the person seating everyone was upstairs. He made no effort to seat us and the line behind us continued to grow. The food was not as good as we remembered the last time we were there. I ordered the chicken Oscar and it was quite greasy. My husband had a baked seafood casserole and he said that was good.We also had a very long wait for our check when we were finished with dinner.Kid-friendliness: I am not sure this is a great place to bring kids.Parking: There are a few parking spots on the street in front of the restaurant. There is also parking in the back.
