I called in a to go order specifically requesting that my hot food not be packaged in plastic, but put into a paper rice box instead. I have a major legitimate phobia of hot food being put into plastic, because hot food + plastic = cancerous harmful chemicals. I was counting on this meal since it was close to the time everything closes near me, and I drove in a snowstorm to go pick it up. I get there and, of course, the food is packaged in plastic. I reiterated my concerns to the server and asked if the meal could be remade. He said he didn’t think so since the restaurant closed in thirty minutes, and then went back into the kitchen to check. He returned five minutes later with the noodles in a box. I asked if the food was remade and he said yes. I paid for the meal like a fool despite my suspicions, and ate a few bites since I was starving before I threw out the rest because I couldn’t shake the feeling I was lied to. The service was very flippant and inconsiderate. I have real health concerns and I would’ve appreciated honesty instead of this establishment trying to make a sale. I heard people in the back laughing as well. Could’ve had nothing to do with me but contributed to the overall dismissive vibe. Asking them to use a readily available rice box is not a difficult request. If my request couldn’t be accommodated at that hour then I would’ve appreciated the transparency, especially considering the hour and weather circumstances. It’s so frustrating to be told “yes” my request was understood only for it to be ignored and then “fixed” as a cosmetic correction. I’m frustrated in general with restaurants being unable to accommodate this - the availability of paper boxes is precisely why I sought this place out! SMH.

We are new in town and this was our first time ordering from Ying Dynasty. We placed a take out order of Beef Teriyaki, Pork Fried Rice., Shrimp Rice Noodles and Seafood Wonderland. Everything was so delicious and good portion size. Friendly and efficient service. We definitely will be going back.

The food quality and meal size for the money are the best I've had. The food is always good and portions are generous. The tea is now charged for, but I guess everything went up these past few years. The dining room is small, but adequate for a relaxing meal out. The owner's son is very nice to customers.

Neighborhood restaurant. I've only ordered once and I'm looking forward to trying something new.
Menu is a bit complicated with the way the combos are set up.
Ordered take out. Was an easy, over the phone, transaction. Meal was out quick and hot.

Usually go to Fairhaven location, so I called to see if they had my usual dish, Gai Poo Lo Mein. Chicken fingers were very rubbery and the breading tasted like a glazed donut. The meat in the vegetables was dry and hard to chew. The lo mein was good.
The gentleman at the counter was unpleasant, dishonest and pushy.

This small gem is exactly what we were looking for in an area that desperately needs good Chinese food. The place is small but cutely decorated with excellent service and fresh food. We had egg rolls, spring rolls and a curry chicken and chicken with vegetables All were fresh. Great flavors that were not your typical “ out of a box or can “ Bonus is it has a cute bar area to enjoy your food inside or a drink while waiting for to go orders. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed!

I wish this place was as good as it was only a few years ago. Had to throw away the food ordered I understand now why the parking lot is empty.
