The first time I went to this place was when they were still in Wareham and cash only which my husband and I hadnât realized. The owner was there was super nice and told us that we could just pay for it next time (we instead ran across to the ATM but I wanted to give an example of what type of person this owner is). Iâd be very surprised if these negative reviews are talking about the same place though I will recognize sometimes individuals do have a rough day/night. I finally got to experience them in their Marion location the other week and they were fantastic. Quick and delicious. I wish them continued luck in the new spot and I hope people give them a chance as theyâre fantastic!

I have been going to Gone Country for 6 years and it's always been a fantastic experience. First they offer Acushnet creamery ice cream which is far better than the often used Giffords ice cream most locations use. Second they offer homemade waffle cones which are to die for. This new location is in the heart of Marion village and a perfect spot to stroll, grab an ice cream and walk to the shore and watch the boats go by. It's a busy spot especially during the summer evenings so expect that when you go mid July in a hot day. She has a fantastic crew willing to help and offer you service with a smile. My kids are young and messy and they are always willing to help with an extra napkin or a cup to put their cone in when they need it. Best ice cream around.

The woman at the counter was unfriendly and came across as quite condescending. It took over 10 minutes to get our ice cream, even though there were no other customers waiting. By the time we walked just a block, the ice cream had already melted, and it was only 70 degrees out.

Let me start by saying that if I could give this funk ah ice cream place half a star I would. Today was an emotionally hard day for a teenage girl such as myself, and I went to achieve a treat to make tomorrow worth living, instead I was practically waterboarded. I walk up to the window, order a childhood favorite called orange sherbert with jimmies, which must be so criminal that the ice cream scoopers can not contain their disgust. âOrAnGe ShEbErT WiTh JiMMieS??! I would understand if watermelon but thatâs just gross.â Now you can probably understand where everything went wrong. How unaware does one have to be to talk shi while with multiple windows open, especially with the customers right outside. As the amazing citizen/customer/person I am I still continue to tip. I am now eating my orange sherbert with jimmies in the car while writing this because I have never been so publicly violated. If I ever go back(NOT likely) I demand free ice cream and a foot massage to recover from my trauma.

This is absolutely our family's favorite. Bought one of the pies for a 9 yr old's birthday party and it was literally gone in 9 minutes!!! We should have bought 2 and we will next time. Do not waste any money on any other ice cream parlor. This is the best.
