Amazing Experience at Gone Country Creamery. Stopped in with my wife yesterday for some mid-day ice cream. We saw a sign on the door that said cash only and we pulled out our wallets to see what we had for cash. The owner came outside to greet us and said "Come on in and get some ice cream, whatever you have for money, we will make it work!" Incredibly nice of her.We each got a 1 scoop cup... which was the biggest scoop of ice cream I have ever seen and I added the homemade hot peanut sauce, which is a must. We had plenty of money because the prices are more than reasonable... especially for the amount of ice cream you get. We walked down to the bench behind the ice cream shop and had our ice cream on the water. We will definitely be back!

Even more than that, though, the kindness, good humor, and generosity with which we were treated brought smiles to our faces for the rest of the day! Never disappoints! We’ve tried 4 different ice cream pies and every single one was absolutely delicious. Ice cream is always fresh and it’s worth the drive to come here! We’ll be back! (again) :)

At 7:45 last night my husband and I decided we wanted some ice cream. We looked online and found Gone Country Creamery was open till 9. We arrived close to 8 and got really delicious creamy ice cream. I commented that we appreciated her being open (so many already closed for the season) and she said oh I was just about to close (open till 9 in summer). She was lovely and stayed a bit longer to accommodate us! And she’s open all winter!!!!

Excellent ice cream shop, my girls loved the quality of the ice cream all three of them commented on how good it tasted, the owner lent us the money for our ice cream because we didn't know it was Cash only, very pleasant service as well ?

My husband, brother & sister in law stopped here for ice cream after our long day out and about sight seeing. What happened to customer service? We were greeted by a woman at the counter who was very sharp and abrupt. The ice cream was delicious but the service was less than appropriate. Not interested in returning here for ice cream in the future.
