Awful awful awful. First time I’ve ever gone and I’m mad at myself for giving this place a try. First they have no menus so you’re standing near the door feeling pressured and rushed to order plus their menu options are terrible and highly overpriced but I was there so we ordered something. I got the chicken fried steak. With 2 eggs , home fries and a biscuit. I don’t think they use real eggs nor give the amount that it says they’re suppose to give you. 2 eggs were like 1 egg and it didn’t taste much like an egg so I’m assuming watered down .. texture was weird. The gravy was gelatinous , the home fries and biscuit were overcooked and very very salty. My wife got an omelette which was the weirdest omelette ever since they’re was barely any egg. It looked like a ton of cheese with spinach and mushrooms. My wife didn’t eat half her food I didn’t eat 2/3 of my food. I complained that the food was very salty and inedible. The waitress gave me a dirty look and took the plates and few minutes later came back with the check. No offer to remake the food and still charges us for it. If that wasn’t bad enough the table was very sticky and they didn’t accept cards so had to use some shady looking atm machine in their lobby. All around bad experience. That waitress turned something that could have been easily fixed by just remaking the food into a much worse experience. I had to go to Dunkin’ Donuts afterwards to get a breakfast sandwich because I was left hungry so all in all like $50 wastes

Riverside is delicious! Some of the best breakfast I’ve ever had! I’m here 3-4 times a week! Chuck Claudia and Julie are all fantastic and super friendly! I highly recommend trying RiverSide Cafe!!!

I love coming here because the owner is so friendly personable and sweet. The one critique I have is when I come here and get an over easy egg it’s always either undercooked and slimy or overcooked and hard. They have many pastries and other options to choose from though! Waffles and pancakes are also yummy!

A friendly place where you order at the counter then take a seat. Excellent food, especially the homefries. Their special of the day omlets are great.
It's a great place to visit. Warm atmosphere. Like Cheers, everybody knows your name. The food is terrific and the homefries can't be beat! You won't be disappointed. Cash only. Enjoy!
