Very nice place, i started going last March, I was going once a week then I started going all 4 days. It’s a 25 minute drive for me but we’ll worth it. Very delicious food, good service, and friendly cozy atmosphere, along with friendly staff, It’s my home away from home. I highly recommend it.
You should try this resturant, if you like EXCELLANT food and service. Upon entering the resturant, without a reservation, we were greeted by the most helpful and pleasant hostess we have had in ages, and she was able to get us two seats at the bar. Sadie was our bartender and server, she is delightful with a bubbling personalty. She made my "lover" a creamy Espresso Martini, which she said was one of the best she had ever had. I had my now usual water with lemon, since I am off the booze for a little while?. We ordered the Bacon Jalepeno Phylio Poppers which were delicious and so nice to have a baked item instead of fried. She ordered the Pan Seared Sea Scallops on spinach risotto with a touch of lemon. The scallops were cooked expertly with a perfect crust as the picture shows. I had the Beef Short Rib which was served over a mash root vegetable medley, and an allspice like seasoned cranberry sauce. It was woderful and I especially love it when it is served boneless.

We have had dinner here multiple times and it has always been very good. Jamie, our waiter, excels at his job. He was extremely attentive to our needs and always available. We started with the seafood frito and duck confit egg rolls. Both were very good and I would recommend that you order them. For our meals we had the fresh berry salad and restaurant made raspberry dressing with grilled shrimp. The shrimp was cooked perfectly which added to fresh salad. I had the clam, mussels, shrimp, chorizo in broth with toasted bread. Jamie was very accommodating by bring me more bread to soak up all the broth. This was a special so do not expect it on a regular basis but if it is available you will love it.

Jewel in Wareham. Lovely plantings on the way in set the stage for a great lunch. The menu wasn't large, but tasty, served with nicely crafted cocktails.

My husband and I had the great fortune of dining here last night. Jamie, our server, was amazing. He knew the menu forwards and backwards and inside out. We started with drinks, my husband the Scratch Margarita off the drinks menu was perfect. I ordered a grey goose extra dirty martini with blue cheese olives that was made to my exact liking. For apps we got the street corn, AMAZING! Literally could dream about it lol. We also got the Buffalo chicken wontons. Also delicious, but we couldn't see past the street corn. Entrée for me was the garlicky fried chicken. I was incredibly happy to have leftovers for lunch. Absolutely delicious and beautifully plated. My husband ordered the steak fries. He enjoyed but wished he ordered it med rare instead of medium. Jamie did ask specifically if he'd be would be ok with med rare. Next time he'll listen to Jamie. But, overall, he did enjoy his meal. The restaurant is charming, the decor so thoughtful to what the owner envisioned. We will absolutely 100% be back.

What a gem of a place! Came up as top rated so decided to try. The place is squeaky clean which is important to me. The decor is lovely. The food was amazing as what the service. Jamie was on point and very knowledgeable about wines and the menu. The Miso Salmon was delicious and cooked to perfection. Will be going over the bridge to visit again!

We had plans to go to the restaurant across the street and decided last minute to try Scarlet Rose instead. I can't remember what the space was before, but the interior is gorgeous. Everything from the stools to the bathrooms seemed so well thought out. It seems small from the outside but the design allows them to comfortably utilize their space. We were greeted immediately by two servers that were kind enough to let us know they'd be right with us. We wanted the bar and took the last 2 seats. The bartender was AMAZING. I ordered the Cranberry Bog Martini (made with cranberry vodka made locally). It was one of the best cocktails I've ever had. We ordered the buff chicken wontons, the Mahi Mahi Tacos, and the smoked bbq ribs. The ribs were expensive but well worth it. And everything on earth is expensive nowadays so splurge or order something else. You'll be happy either way! I wish I got pictures but I was too eager to dive in. Everything start to finish was perfect and I can't wait to go back.

To respond to this negative owner reply, if you read my review I mention that I have dined here several times. Forgive me, it was lamb chop Marsala. Maybe you should hire someone professional to respond to reviews. I can’t believe they keep editing the review. For the record, I have eaten here several times. A review is my opinion. I guess owner doesn’t understand that. I actually love the bartender and I did not “storm out”. That is a total lie. I didn’t like the overly loud music or menu. We told the bartender we would see her next time. Nothing hostile. I have been in hospitality for over35 years and would never reply like this to a customer. Speaks volumes of management
So I’ve been here a few times and I really want to love this place but it seems to lack consistency. The food has been mostly good but I don’t get the frequent menu changes and the somewhat bizarre items on the menu. Pork chop Marsala? I don’t get it. We went in last FR and there was nothing we wanted to order on the menu. They also had a guy singing depressing songs, personal preference but this is not an inexpensive restaurant so I don’t understand the entertainment. Seemed so out of place. We left and dined elsewhere. Whomever is designing the menu needs to take a long look at it and give some better options.
