This charming little restaurant is a gem of a place. Family owned and operated, you can always get a hardy and delicious breakfast. They specialize is homemade hash. My husband rates breakfast restaurants based on their hash, and he raves about theirs. My daughter in law is from the South and says their biscuits and gravy are the best in a restaurant she's ever had. The place is small and homey. The service is friendly and efficient. The prices are reasonable. The Breakfast Nook is a fantastic way to start a day.

Can’t say enough for wonderful place to have breakfast. Very homey atmosphere, waitress (believe her name was Gina was very friendly & provided excellent service!!! 😊
I got one of the specials - a warm apple crisp on a waffle, sooo very delicious!! 😋💗
(Declined whipped cream topping 😁)

Not impressed. Had been wanting to try it for a long time. Finally went. The potatoes weren’t edible, way too hard and old. Hash was horrible. Bacon had been cooked way before and you couldn’t eat it. Looks dingy and dirty. After we got the breakfast, the waitress never came back until the bill. So disappointed.

Way too expensive. Thought I ordered eggs but apparently I must’ve got the caviar.

Love this comfy place.
Dietary restrictions: No GF bread, but easy to work around to order GF, DF and V.
Recommended dishes: Hash, Eggs Benedict
Came here at 11: 30am and it's closed they must have closed early because of no business
Avoid. 1hr 20 mins for 3 eggs and canned hash. Had to leave without ever getting served. Never received a time update at any point. They were busy but not that busy.
Good luck if you have a large group.

My husband and I are diner enthusiasts, and this place did not disappoint! The staff was so warm and friendly, and the special (cinnamon roll French toast) was to die for. It was also incredibly affordable and portions were generous. Looking forward to coming back next time we are in the area!

Cute local place with a homey feel and friendly service. Enjoyed the food and would rate this higher than Leo’s and Persey’s Place, the other breakfast spots we’ve tried in the area. A wonderful way to start celebrating Mom’s birthday! Would definitely visit again next time I’m in the area.

Limited breakfast menu, food was descent, prices were slightly above average...menu states coffee 3.50 with only 1 refill! Brisket hash was very good.
