Don't understand why this place is always as packed as it is.
Food is more like cafeteria food. Items that are not cooked, just heated.
Bland and boring.

Can never go wrong with Vels.
Best food around by far.

Chicken Parmesan with spaghetti was delicious!. My wife had turkey dinner and loved it first time she cleaned her plate, mine was large potion of chicken fried just right and meat sauce on pasta was flavorful and had a lot of meat in it. Most places don't season their sauce this place seasons very nice not to much just enough to taste it. Will definitely go back again

Always delicious hot and super huge meals great value for money the staff are so lovely..I've eaten in so many top Italian restaurants but this food is like mama used to make amazing value for money..wonderful ti.e had and been back many times I recommend Vels to everyone

Been eating here for years I drive up from the Cape what happened to vels did they sell? The owners realize they couldn’t sustain making a profit, selling quality food. I got the seafood platter. It used to be delicious. I wouldn’t feed it to my dog now the fish was frozen. The scallops were frozen. The onion rings were frozen. The shrimp was frozen. The clams were fresh, but not quality clams I would say second or quality clams . Charge the prices that you need in order to make a profit and stay in business. Don’t put yourself out of business because you’re selling food that is awful.
