For the love of God if youre going to serve sushi, stop serving minced tuna shrimp garbage with spicy sauce for anything spicy... Spicy yellow tail should not be minced at all! Stop serving minced sushi as a filling ! It's absolutely disgusting.. Other food was good but no one knows this place is ever open and it's always empty... They need to fix their sushi problem or stop serving it... There should be nothing minced in sushi filling and mixed with other fish! And selling it as yellow tail!

Wow! Just wow! We just moved here from Malden and we were super sad that Tiki Island closed. We decided to try Eastern Pearl and wow it was amazing! The sushi was freshly made and literally amazing! The ginger is beige just so you know lol. But seriously every single thing we ordered was amazing! Strong mai tais, the best crab Rangoon I’ve ever tasted in my life, the vegetable pan fried noodles were literally perfect! I mean every single thing was perfect! I 10000% will be back to visit Sam at the bar for his excellent service! Thank you Sam aka my first Cats name!

My family and I have been coming here for many years, it is our go to Chinese restaurant. Over the past 2 to 3 years the quality of the food has consistently decreased. We have never eaten in due to the fact that the main business of this restaurant is its bar and the interior ambience is not nice for a quiet meal dining in. The meal that I received yesterday was abysmal. There were three dishes that had the exact same sauce , just with different proteins, and the sauce was clearly straight out of a jar. The Peking ravioli were so overdone they were inedible and the shumai were frozen in the middle. We aren’t picky eaters and this restaurant has always been very satisfactory American Chinese food. But the near complete waste of a meal I had last night will cause me to never return to this restaurant again.

The last time we ate inside was around the same time covid started. We ate there another time as covid was going on and it wasn't that great and we said we wouldn't eat there again. Well now here we are in 2025 and we took out an order of beef teriyaki, pork fried rice, chicken lo mein, an order , in a poo poo platter for three. All the food was excellent. So yes this is back to where it's at place to go for Chinese food. Nice job Eastern Pearl.

I am a local and have been going to Eastern Pearl since they opened. I have always loved their food and service but last night for the first time I had to send a couple of dishes back next thing I know the owner is coming out from the back room to the table and he was EXTREMELY HOSTILE towards us! I tried to explain that the food is normally amazing and I’d never had a problem before but his hostility and unprofessional behavior was unacceptable. I even Paid for the dishes I sent back, I wasn’t trying to be disrespectful or difficult but after the way he treated us we will NEVER be going back. The waitress was very nice and apologized.

This was our first time ordering from here, a friend recommended their sushi so we decided to try it. Overall happy with our meal. We order crab rangoons, fried shrimp, and Peking ravioli all were delicious. For sushi we got a King Kong Roll, Webster Roll, King Roll, California Roll and a Tuna Avocado Roll. I’d rate sushi 7.5 out of 10 being the best ever. Wish they gave bigger side sauces, but overall happy. Only one person in the place at 4:30 on a Saturday, ripped pieces of paper on the door for “signs”, not super inviting so I took one star off.
