I am a local and have been going to Eastern Pearl since they opened. I have always loved their food and service but last night for the first time I had to send a couple of dishes back next thing I know the owner is coming out from the back room to the table and he was EXTREMELY HOSTILE towards us! I tried to explain that the food is normally amazing and I’d never had a problem before but his hostility and unprofessional behavior was unacceptable. I even Paid for the dishes I sent back, I wasn’t trying to be disrespectful or difficult but after the way he treated us we will NEVER be going back. The waitress was very nice and apologized.

Always get takeout from here and occasionally come inside. Never been disappointed by the food and it’s definitely the best chinese in the area, plus they have great sushi.

This was our first time ordering from here, a friend recommended their sushi so we decided to try it. Overall happy with our meal. We order crab rangoons, fried shrimp, and Peking ravioli all were delicious. For sushi we got a King Kong Roll, Webster Roll, King Roll, California Roll and a Tuna Avocado Roll. I’d rate sushi 7.5 out of 10 being the best ever. Wish they gave bigger side sauces, but overall happy. Only one person in the place at 4:30 on a Saturday, ripped pieces of paper on the door for “signs”, not super inviting so I took one star off.
This place the food is very good and I have been going here for years now but the damn opening hours!!!!! Closed on Tuesdays, closed random Mondays and most annoying no delivery!!!!!! No menu online on the Google page, the management need to get there stuff organized. You could do so much more business if you just did delivery ?I’m tired of turning up to order and you being closed……shame really think these are easy fixes. I’ll update review if you can just keep your opening hours consistent for a 6 month period…..
They have the best Chinese food in all of the Dudley, Webster, Oxford, and Auburn area. I live in North Oxford and I go to Eastern Pearl anytime I want some Chinese food.
Parking: There’s plenty of parking on the side of the building.
Food is always fresh & delicious. Staff is extremely friendly. Great drinks too.

Got pai tai chicken to go. i got food poisoning with diarrhea and throwing up right after eating it and running to the bathroom all night. I brought it back what was left the next day and they wouldn't reimburse me plus they had a nasty
3rd time here. Love the food and drinks. Great sushi!
