Alta Strada - Wellesley, MA

Chicken parm very good. Broccoli was served with it which was a little odd. Chicken Milanese ok but the lemon sauce was on the side so it was just a piece of fried chicken cutlet. I think it was the same chicken as the chicken parm but without the red sauce? Caesar salad was good overall food was good but not as great as it was last time. Sam as the server was very nice.

My family and I had a great time and I wanted to say thanks to Sam, Kate, Abby, Catherine as well as Skye and Immaculee for taking such good care of my parents and sons (and me!). My mom is still raving about what a wonderful time she had and keeps telling me how genuine and kind all of the staff was. A special shout out to Guy, thanks for your tremendous generosity and even though my dad wasn't feeling well and had to leave after only 30 minutes, it meant a lot to us that we were able to get him out for a little while. I highly recommend Alta Strada for anyone who likes great food, a phenomenal wine and cocktail selection, and top notch service!!!

This is our second time at this restaurant. Excellent food and service. We enjoyed everything and will be back again when visiting our son at Babson.

We had a very yummy dinner. The garlic bread with tomato sauce was great. I had lamb chops...it was a very big serving and they were delicious. My husband loves their pasta. We had stopped going there as it was always very noisy but it seems like they have done some work to lessen that.

Service was pleasant and diligent, but not overbearing. We started with the Tuna crudo which was delicious - waitress described it as contemporary and fresh and at first we laughed but it was spot on. I had the branzino which was filet and seasoned perfectly and my wife had the best chicken parm she's had in a while. And she's had her fair share of this dish across Boston. We capped it off with a lemon tart special dessert which was so good my wife didn't share and I had the tiramisu which was really good. Not your typical super spongy version but the denseness was a welcome surprise and the flavors were on point. Lastly, for a Wellesley restaurant this was very reasonably priced. We'll be going back for sure.

The food was very good . The service was not good . The manager was great and took the time to right the situation . The fact that he cared so much will make us return. The noise level was refreshing good and the seats comfortable.

The service was amazing, our waiter was competent caring thorough and very personable. He added to our positive experience in a big way! And did I mention the food was delicious and plentiful!! And I'm fussy. We would definitely return when we're in the area.

Alta Strada is always fantastic (food, service) but the a/c wasn't working, making it very uncomfortable on a very hot and muggy night. I hope it's fixed right away, for both staff and clientele. I love your restaurant. Excellent service; extremely attentive.

Unfortunately the AC was not working upstairs. There was a fan blowing into the dining room but the restaurant was exceedingly hot. Disappointing.

The restaurant is fairly busy most of the hour. The menu is not large but has something for everyone. All the items we have tried over numerous visits have been very good, fully portioned, and always arrive out of the kitchen hot. The staff seems to have little turnover which is always a good sign. There is free parking in the lot behind the building with a patio in the back as well. Addition metered parking is on the street. Metered parking fees are Monday through Saturday 8am to 5 or 6pm.

We are sorry to report that the clams in pasta dish (vongele) we both ordered was very disappointing compared to the last time we ordered it. This being said the staff and management were great and offered to replace the dishs with whatever we wanted and ultimately comped us for the entrees. We don't know if the recipe has changed or the chef just messed up.

Nice way to start the weekend! Our food was great, service was top noch- thank you Chuck and Chris! The tuna special was special but everything on the menu looked good.
