Alta Strada never disappoints! Best service, wonderful meal, a nice bottle of wine, and comfortable vibe. Thanks all!
fresh food and delicious- the mushroom ravioli and the Bolognese was delicious. The side of ricotta was definitely overpriced but the quality of the food was great
I could not reserve what I needed on open table and left a request with the reservation I could get. Alta made the accomodation and revised the reservation. Then we got stuck in traffic and the response to our call to let them know we were delayed could not have been nicer. When we fiinally arrived we were warmly greeted and enjoyed an excellent meal. We had not been to Alta for some time, but we will return soon.
Our server was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable and offered a detailed description of the wine special. Food was flavorful, creative and ample. It is nice to see the manager walking around and engaging with being accessible to guests.
3 people for 7pm 1 was 5 min late very rushed to get orders it wasn't busy at all at 830 tables empty around us we split 2 appys and they started taking them away before we were done to make room for our dinner plates not a good experience
We always enjoy dinner at Alta Strada. The menu offers great variety and specials are special! The only downside for us is the noise level. It's just way too noisy for easy conversation. Would love some fabric on the ceiling or windows to absorb some of the energy.
Food was good, standard, Italian fare nicely presented. The wine was quite good. Service was excellent. The place is pretty cookie in decor and loud. Not a great place for any kind of quiet conversation.
We loved everything except the noise level. Even a few low back booths like Dryft would help.
Food & service were great. We ordered appetizers & pasta. Save room for dessert- marscaporeos
Great service -- very knowledgeable waiter. Rebolita soup was wonderful as was wild boar (which I had with tagliaelle rather than gnocchi) and mushroom ravioli with truffle.

Fantastic experience and attention to detail! The food is delicious and the team is so welcoming!
Let me start by saying the staff, hostess, and waiter were so attentive and sweet, my water cup was looking low and somebody would randomly come over and fill it for me. However, the food was mediocre. Garlic bread was so saturated in oil/butter that you couldn't taste anything else. The rigatoni alla vodka was not worth the price, you do get a lot of pasta but you're better off making it at home which is what it tasted like. The chicken parm breading was so soggy it all fell off, and the cutlet was the thinnest little thing I had ever seen. The reviews for this restaurant were great which is why we went, but unfortunately, I will not be going back.
Alta Strada continues to be one of the top restaurants in the Boston area. Cocktails are superb, and food is consistently outstanding! Service is warm and friendly. One of the best restaurants in the area - always consistent!
Great menu and seasonal specials

First time trying this restaurant and looking at the prices, I had high expectations!
We ordered to go, food was prepared and ready to be picked up at promised time. We ordered eggplant Parm, chicken Parm, seared salmon and gnocchi.
First problem was, when I was double checking the order on a table, the content of the eggplant parm were all shifted to the side of the box, like all of them all the way to the side. No biggie
The major issue I had was the food were so SALTY! Not just one dish, all of them were so salty that you cannot taste anything else but saltiness. To a point that burns your lips! We threw away half of the food and I don't think they seem edible. For a meal that cost more than $130, underwhelming is an understatement. The Italian food at our local restaurant is a lot better than this place and definitely cost less.
The wait staff at the front helping me to get my order was very friendly, that's the one plus I can think of the experience here.
I don't think I will go back to this restaurant to be honest.
