Love this place in general. Food is great and consistent every time. What prompted me to leave a review here is because of our servant John: We had the pleasure of having him responsible for our table a couple of times, and each time hes been as great as it gets. He projects a very good vibe, super polite, has great knowledge of all the dishes on all details and is just so pleasant to interact with overall. Tonight my friend and I had an outing and it went way beyond the closing time of the restaurant and we didnt notice how late it was. When we finally got up, we realized that the restaurant was completely empty from staff as well, except for John. He waited there because of us and didn't even pressure us to leave. We are so greaful (and very sorry) for this. Please give him a raise and kudos that he deserves so much for the great job and hard work!

I loved the seared tuna and grilled cauliflower! Mushroom with polenta was good too. Shrimp burger would worked better with a brioche bun. Chocolate breading pudding was ok. Wish it had more chocolate. Overall service was great. Will be coming back to try more tapas.

Bocado is one of my favorite restaurants! The food and sangria never disappoint! I visited the Wellesley location with some friends and my 9 month old daughter. I was hesitant about taking her but they were very accommodating!
We got the experience for four it came with paella, 10 tapas and dessert, everything was amazing! The only negative thing I’d say is that the veggie paella did have a hint of a seafood flavor but everything else was delicious. I highly recommend the friend goat cheese with honey charcuterie and chorizo and also the beef brisket tapa. It was plenty of food for four people. I can’t remember our servers name but he was great! Counting down the days until I come here again!

Food makes me gush saliva out. It is DELICIOUSSSSSS. I've been here many times and always forget to review it. Today we had bolas de arroz con mozzarella and pecho de res cocido (5h slow cooked brisket) for tapas and a Big Pig Paella.
First time I came with my wife we got the bocado experience for 2 people (which comes with 4 tapas and small paella or 6 tapas and churros y chocolate [dessert]. Believe me, there is NOTHING small about that paella ???).
Drinks are fenomenal, ambient is well set up and the staff is always 5 stars. Love everything about it and will keep coming back.
Manager was also extremely sweet on my wife's birthday also and helped out with it.

Everything was overcooked. Given the brisket is braised that helped a bit. The flan was also over cooked but real issue was the idea that it has “fresh fruit.” That line is laughable given the one strawberry it came with.
Service was meh. We were seated and the servers (had two) took forever to come over. When they did they barely acknowledged us, seemed to not want to be there and rushed away before we were able to say anything. The people actually bringing out the food were great though.

Love the vibe, this place is a lot of fun. They have wine flights, great sangria, and such good tapas.
Parking: When I went, I was able to find a street parking spot within easy distance, but I do not know if there are times that are harder to get parking.
Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is not at street level, but there is a ramp to get in. Most of the spaces are on the same level as the entrance. There are booths that are higher than the aisle though, and I did not explore the whole space.
Food was amazing, except the dime size scallops, didn't know they could get that small, and the hockey puck "medium-rare" wagyu burgers. Food is generally good though, if it comes. We only ordered a meat and cheese spread + six tapas and were there OVER TWO HOURS, frequently waiting 20+ minutes in between tapas. They kept coming back to us to see which tapas we ordered. We also requested a simple coffee, twice, was given the bill and coffee never came. It's not a complicated order. This place seems to be run by confused 20 year old girls with zero personalities (except the older gentleman hostess who seated us). The atrocious service discrets the food and we won't be back.
