Ordered wontons with sauce on side instead of wontons in the sauce. They charged extra $1 for a tiny plastic container for the sauce. When asked why they charge me extra, first they said the printed menu that sits on their counter is old. I asked why they are keeping an old menu and not the updated one. They never answered. Then they said it’s not the menu it’s computer that calculated an extra charge for the sauce on the side. Never apologized for the inconvenience. Besides, all the wontons came glued together as one big chunk of dough and it was inseparable. Had to throw it out.

I’ve been a loyal customer at CK, but the waitress there was extremely disrespectful. She falsely accused of not tipping her, and she even told my friend in Chinese that I was cheap. I genuinely felt that this action was racially motivated, and am extremely disappointed that a restaurant with such great food has such horrible service.

We had my son’s birthday family luncheon here, and it was phenomenal. Perry was responsive by email and very flexible about changes we needed to make in the last moment. We pre-ordered by emailing a list of what we wanted, including several gluten free dishes, and everything was ready for us when we arrived. And to find gluten free Chinese food!? AMAZING! Everything was delicious and it’s clear they do GF right because those of us who are GF for various reasons all felt wonderful / had no reaction, immediate or delayed. Will be frequenting this restaurant for sure!

Normally, the food is excellent. However, we ordered the whole Peking Duck for $69, and all we received was a mix of a reheated shredded thigh and skin mixture. We couldn't find any breast meat. See the picture. Having just returned from having had amazing Peking Duck in Singapore, this was a huge disappointment. There, and at Jiangnan in Boston, they bring the whole duck and carve it at your table. We do not believe we received a whole duck. When we complained, they said it was served differently. In the past, at this restaurant, the duck was served with large pieces of breast meat topped with crispy skin. But not this time. The skin and meat were fatty and salty.

Note, we were at the restaurant early at 4. One previous time, we arrived early and also did not seem to receive a whole duck. It seems like early arrivers get shredded duck from the previous day.

This said, everything else we had was excellent. My grandsons loved the teriyaki beef sticks, pot stickers, house fried rice, and the always superb jumbo shrimp in spicy Shanghai sauce.

If we have the duck here again, we will ask to have the whole duck brought to our table where we will carve it ourselves.

I only ordered two appetizers: beef teriyaki and chicken wings, each in a single size (4 pieces). The total came to nearly $30, which is quite high, so I expected the food to be of good quality. Unfortunately, it was mediocre at best. The beef teriyaki was dry, and the chicken wings were not cooked properly.

I’ve been in this place couple times before but this time the Food and service was really bad plus the waiter she doesn’t even understand english i have to point out on the menu what i need to order then at the end i left $10 tips my bill was less than $100 so i gave her $100 cash bill she was really mad she called me at the door i was leaving “that’s it $10 tip” unfortunately i was very nice to leave $10 tips for such a food and service like this.Definitely will not go back to this restaurant again not recommended.

This has to be the best Chinese restaurant I've eaten at outside of San Francisco's Chinatown. On our first visit we shared the excellent Hunan style prawns with the fabulous Szechuan spicy wontons appetizer. Our second visit we ate from the luncheon specials. Everything has been great, but the dumplings in the wonton soup and the appetizer are our absolute favorite!
