Wish I could give this place zero stars. I went to a trial class here. The woman who was at the front desk and taught the class asked me about my last name. I told her my ethnicity and it was a total mood change. From then on, I experienced nothing but rudeness. Perhaps it was ethnocentrism, or maybe she didn't like the way I wore my hair or something more innocent, but either way who needs to deal with that.

Ramon gave us a 30min free lesson. His teachings are clear and organized. He gave us the prices $440/5 private couple lessons or 2x$170/10 group lessons. We are considering what is best.

I have danced for > 10 years and just switched to this studio. I am impressed with the quality of all the teachers, and truly love being a part of this studio. Ramon is really "upping my game", for which I am very grateful. I know I will become the dancer I want to be with him at my side. Thanks also go to Olga, the owner quietly making sure all is well, and Ferrenc and Petr and Anna....all quite amazing and welcoming and supportive each in their own ways, all hard working instructors invested in their students. I love to see the teachers collaborating and working together to help each of their students. There is something to learn from each one of them, and I am happy to be able to access all of their skills!

Excellent, laid back, fun and experienced teachers make it worth the 30 min drive for me, even though there are other studios closer to me. The student showcases at the end of the year give you something to practice for, feel proud about, and allow you to meet new dancer friends.

I went tonight for an intro class with Ramon. He was very personable & likable. I've never taken any kind of dancing class and even after just a few minutes - I felt very comfortable & liked the warm & welcoming vibe there.

You will not be disappointed with Dance Republic! I was initially drawn to DR's Salsa and Bachata lessons, but quickly became a regular at all of the ballroom classes. They allow a fun and approachable way to becoming a dancer or continuing your practice. The teachers really do their best to pay individual attention to all dancers even in group classes; which you will not find anywhere else. Ramon Campos is an exceptionally talented instructor and he is always putting his students first. Within a short six months he had me feeling a huge sense of accomplishment, improvement, and confidence! The entire team instantly made me feel like a part of the ballroom family and for that I am forever grateful. Thank you! -Katie

Success! Needed help with the father/daughter dance at her wedding. Denis was fabulous! Don't let his boyish face fool you. He choreographed something with an intro and finish that was achievable and looked great. My daughter lives in NY so we had only one session together. My wife was a stand-in so I learned how to lead in 4 lessons. During our one actual father/daughter lesson (a double), Denis did the most important thing: he taught her how to be led. Young people have no experience with connected dancing. He spent a while doing exercises so she learned to mirror his movements. That worked wonders. She easily learned the steps after that and we were cooking. Can't wait to see the video. Oh yes, Olga and the other instructors are good. The studio is spacious and parking is easy. Their computer system has a mind of its own, but don't sweat it.
