We went on a Saturday 6ish. Dryft was very busy (as expected) and very lively. We were happy to be seated near the end of the restaurant in a booth where it was less noisy. The service was excellent and pleasant. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Food arrived in good time and we enjoyed everything! Pasta is home made and very tender. My mahi mahi dish was fresh & delicious with a lovely finishing sauce. Our friends raved about the clam chowder and everyone enjoyed their...
Food was outstanding. Every mouthful was a delight. Definitely worth the price. Patricia, the waitress was wonderful, attentive, personable. However, it was quite noisy. I wish the owners could figure out how to deal with the acoustics -- maybe something on the walls and/or ceiling to dampen/absorb the sound?
Good experience, but that's it. I don't generally like these big, industrial, high-ceilinged, as they tend to produce generic, overly-seasoned food, and Dryft was no exception. Nothing wrong, but nothing memorable. Server was friendly & attentive, as was the bartender. But overly-spiced apps and entrees just weren't great. Hate to leave mediocre reviews, but I'm surprised a town like Wellesley pays high-end prices for middle-of-the-road food.
