I can't really say that I was impressed with the restaurant. The bartender did not want to really service if we were just having a beer. However, the staff who served us were very nice, but the food was lacking for the price.

A group of us came in on a Friday night around 6 and got seated without a wait. The restaurant size is a bit deceiving, it's actually pretty big towards the back. For apps, we had 3 dips, mussels, octopus, chicken skewers, and falafels. My favorite was the octopus with the jicama. The falafel also had a great crunch and texture inside. Chicken skewers were average and the mussels could have been skipped, the broth was a bit too sweet. For entrees, I had the chicken tagine. The chicken was soft, but definitely lacking in flavor. The couscous accompanied with it was also bland. I had a scallop off my boyfriend plate, and while it was fresh, it was a bit too salty. My favorite might have been the little piece of schnitzel I tried off someone else plate. We had the creme brûlée and date cake for dessert. The cake was great, but the creme Brûlée was so thin, it was more like eating pistachios and jam! Also, the restaurant was extremely hot for the winter. We were sweating for most of the meal and slightly uncomfortable while eating.

This was one of the best dinners I've had in a while. Drove in to town from NY, to visit a friend. We happen to stumble across Juniper and the smell when we walked in the door sold us. We enjoyed every bite! We started with pita and dip, then the beet and goat cheese salad, chicken skewers (the dip for this was incredible! It had a bit of a kick too), finished with the lamb bolognese (the star of the night). Generous portions, high quality, just so delicious. Highly recommend if you're in the Wellesley MA area.
I have been wanting to come for a while. They are first come first serve and do not accept reservations. There's almost always a line, that's why I waited for so long. We went on a Friday night at 6pm. They took my number and it was about a 40-min wait. The inside is very nice and cozy. We sat in the back with the couch seats. The food is definitely worth the wait, and the portions are great. We had the Baba Ghanouj dip. Their pita is 100/100. The Charred Octopus was amazing with the pickled onions. For entree, we picked Chicken Tagine and scallop grits. The cous cous is easily one of the best that I have had. I cannot wait to come back again.

My partner and I recently went with another couple to Juniper on a Saturday night. Since they don't take reservations, we arrived at 5:00 PM.We looked at the menu and were pleased with the options.We ordered drinks (Icarus Lane for me) and an appetizer (matbucha) and then settled into the delightful task of selecting an entree selection from a refreshingly unusual menu. Three of us ordered the chicken Schnitzel. All of us were glad we made that choice. The portions were so large that two of the party took some home.We asked our server about dessert options, and she suggested the date cake dessert.It was certainly large enough for two people. My partner nibbled at it which left lots for me.It was one of the most unique desserts I've ever had. At the end of the evening by this time the restaurant was packed I asked David if he had a minute. He stopped amid the bustle and hustle, and I told him that I'd love to go to a restaurant when I eat a delicious meal that I have no idea how I would begin to prepare at home.When we left, the dining room and bar were full; we never felt pushed to leave although in hindsight I’m sure people were waiting for the table.I would really recommend if it's in your driving radius to check the place out. I know I'm looking forward to going back again.

TERRIBLE service, the waiter was nowhere to be found, at the end we had to go look for him because we were tired of sitting there and wanted to pay and leave. .Food was low quality and dry, I honestly had a hard time chewing and swallowing the falafel.Babaganoush is one of my favorite appetizers and if it’s on the menu, I order it. It was so tasteless that I couldn’t take the second bite. So no I do not recommend this place.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly
