Oh boy... young, polite server forgets to offer us any bread... then my entree comes undercooked and the restaurant proceeds to refire a protein while I eat the sides... takes way too long... they apologize, take the entree off my bill, give me a tiramisu dessert to take home... but... that experience... was still a bomb. Eating alone after one's companion has finished is NOT what dining out should look like. The cook needs training... and servers need to know what to look...
Cod special was delicious, otherwise average. Our issue was the waiter kept clearing our plates before we were done. It was very noisy, but the round table near the fire was nice. I would return, but try and get avoid the weekend crowds.
We asked for a burger well done as my very italian mom doesn't like rare meats. It came out mooing. Dinner took 2 hours and people who came in after us were served before us. They however, were very accomodating of my food allergies and the Chicken Picata was VERY good. The other meals were ok.
