Smith & Wollensky - Wellesley

Excellent experience. Service was great. Food took a while to come out, but the wait staff was attentive and made sure that we were satisfied throughout the night.

Terrible service Our waiter, Michael, disappeared for 30 minutes Water glass never refilled Onion strings were cold Tried to charge us for liquor we never had.

I took my sales team to dinner to celebrate a wonderful year and we had the nicest time. Laurie is a standout as a server with her depth of knowledge on hospitality and dining. Everything was fabulous from the ambience to the food and we are so lucky to have had Laurie as our server because we had so many laughs.

We were celebrating our daughter's 23rd birthday and our server Missy made sure our night was special right down to the giant piece of decadent chocolate to go cake. The table side steak tartar was divine, the iceberg salad crisp and creamy, the french onion soup with oxtail had the perfect amount of cheese, the burger with smokey bacon was cooked perfectly. The list goes on and on. Thank you S&W for a delicious and memorable birthday celly.

Thank you for another great night. We haven't enjoyed dinner in the dining room in some time, but it was perfect. Incredible service, and the food and drinks were excellent!

Smith & Wollensky in Wellesley is simply the best. What truly sets this restaurant apart is the exceptional kindness and professionalism of the entire staff. From the moment we arrive, we are made to feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Every interaction is warm, attentive, and thoughtful. The service is incredible. The team consistently goes above and beyond to ensure a wonderful experience, and their graciousness makes the evening feel special rather than transactional. It's rare to find a place where both the food and the people leave such a lasting impression. Truly grateful for memorable dining experiences and the outstanding managers and staff who make it so.

S&W is one of the best steakhouses around. This is the fifth location we've been to that's how much we have enjoyed our experience. For the first time ever we ordered the tomahawk steak. It's impressive visually and they carve it for you table side. We requested medium but this came out more on the rare side. I'm even good with mid rare but there sections that were blue. So, that was a little disappointing, but the rest of the food was cooked perfectly. This location didn't have the same wow factor aesthetically than some of the other locations but it was still nice. Despite the hiccup with the steak this time, I'll still go back to another location. We've been to NY, Vegas, Boston, Wellesley, and Miami. So far Miami was the best overall experience (complete 5/5) and then I'd say LV and Boston, NY and then Wellesley. Our server was good and polite when we saw him, but it was very crowded so we didn't see him much. S&W puts out tremendous food and they are absolutely worth dining at, this visit just wasn't as good as some previous experiences.

We chose the prix fixe Thanksgiving dinner. Soup and salad were good. The turkey plate, however, didn't impress us. The turkey slices were thick and dry, gravy was not from turkey juices, vegetables were over cooked and not easily identifiable. The pies were thin but at least the whipped cream was real.

Good food and friendly service. Ultimately at the price point would have expected more. You can get same tasting steak somewhere up the street for $30 cheaper. Would definitely recommend for special occasions but even then make sure you save up.

I went with three grandchildren and we all had a great time. From the moment we walked in, to being seated and to the service was excellent. Our waitress Laurie, was wonderful. She was warm, engaging and her service was impeccable. Would certainly ask for her again. The food was nicely served and was delicious from the main dishes- all meats, to the sides and desserts. Will certainly go again

Our experience was really wonderful. Each course, the creative cocktails and the impeccable service provided by the staff, particularly our waiter Michael, was extremely enjoyable. We are looking forward to our next visit.

First time here dining and it was fantastic. The food and drinks were incredible and we had outstanding service from Colette our server. Will be back again.

Noah was an amazing server and made our experience special and fun. We love him! Steaks were a little cold and dry though. But we love S&W and Noah :)

It is always special to go to S&W! It starts at the host/hostess stand. We are always greeted with a warm welcome and a smile! The service is always professional and perfect. Every aspect of service is exceptional! The best food around always expertly prepared with special dietary requests honored. It starts with the management team. They are so engaged throughout the restaurant and often roll up their sleeves to help. It is a carefully balanced orchestration to assure the guests have a wonderful and memorable experience.
