It is always special to go to S&W! It starts at the host/hostess stand. We are always greeted with a warm welcome and a smile! The service is always professional and perfect. Every aspect of service is exceptional! The best food around always expertly prepared with special dietary requests honored. It starts with the management team. They are so engaged throughout the restaurant and often roll up their sleeves to help. It is a carefully balanced orchestration to assure the guests have a wonderful and memorable experience.
This was the second time that my wife and me were in Smith & Wollensky for dinner and again the experience was outstanding and flawless. I would like to take this opportunity to recognize the excellent work again did it by Missy, she was simply "the best". Her attentions, service and customer satisfaction were remarkable. We are going to ask for her when we get back. All, the food, service and experience, was perfect and definitively we are going to recommend it and will come back again. Congrats to all Smith & Wollensky personnel and management.
Excellent food as always much better than central S&W Boston. Waitress as always fantastic . Will be back
We have been to many S&W locations over the years. This one is not on par with any of them. The food was actually bad! We spent about $1,000 on the meal and said we will never return there.
The service and experience were fantastic. I had sea bass and while it was perfectly prepared, I thought it could have been more seasoned for increased flavor. My son had the bone steak and mentioned the same need for more flavor - despite great preparation. The key lime pie was fantastic and a great way to end our meal. Thanks for a lovely evening.
Always a five star experience! The tomahawk ribeye is a must (not only for the fun tableside experience) due to the tenderness and extraordinary flavor of the meat. Be sure to try the bone marrow and the steak tartare (also tableside). Superb Hochar red wine from Lebanon, gorgeous shrimp cocktail and crab cocktail, fresh local oysters. Dietary restrictions cheerfully accommodated. Ample parking. Why bother going into downtown Boston? We appreciate the location, the consistent quality of their food, and the professional service. Extremely highly recommended!
Second time I have been at the restaurant in the last month and my table has been always at the end of the restaurant next to the bathroom exit.
Everything was top notch. Wonderful food, service and ambiance. Perfect special night out.
The service was unbelievable. Our waiter was very communicative and friendly and accommodating. The food however, wasn't great last night for some reason I ordered the tuna tartare and it changed on the menu how they prepared it so did not like it. The Seabass was good, but nothing special to it.
Always fantastic. First time having JC as our server and he was fantastic. Thank you for the great evening.

Four of us went for a birthday. The restaurant was not super busy and we were at a back table, so it was very quiet. Everyone on the staff was friendly and the host came by a couple of times to make sure we were having a good time. Our waitstaff, Laurie, was absolutely perfect. We had a great time talking with her, and she was extremely efficient. She made some great suggestions too. A wonderful evening was had by all.
This is my go to restaurant for business or personal, when I especially want the “A” team behind the dining experience.
Always happy to spend money on a great meal. Found this to be overpriced given the quality of the meal. Salad was soggy with too much dressing. Steaks were underwhelming. The roasted chicken was tasty, but kind of rubbery in texture. Expected a much higher end experience. Went on a quiet Sunday evening so it wasn't due to the restaurant being busy. Wished it was as good as the Capital Grill.
Great service, hostess was so accommodating when I didn't like the table we were sat at. Waiter was lovely! We had a great time!
Gorgonzola crusted filet was awesome. The creamed spinach was even better. My favorite steak house. Awesome meal!!
