Would be 5 stars across the board, except for the following: bit into what appeared to be a piece of a plastic bread bag tie into my 2nd half of sandwich. I understand these things happen, and our server was absolutely lovely in every respect; however, the manager didn't pop over for even one second to acknowledge it. Took it off the bill and that's a given, we didn't make a stink about it, just would have been appropriate customer service for a manager to stop...
As usual, the dinner dishes are very good and the service is excellent. We enjoy our time at Cottage and regularly dine there. Maybe a slight increase in the variety of dishes will make it even better.
If you have not gone to The Cottage, located in Wellesley, you are missing out. I've been there several time and the food is always fabulous. I highly recommend you try this place. You will not be disappointed.
