Amazing place! I loved the atmosphere and the service provided. My father and I went and we were greeted by the Manager Josh. Josh directed us to Camilo where we were waited with outstanding service! I will be back and I will ask for Camilo!

100 out of 10! If I could give it 10 stars I would. The atmosphere is so chill and down to earth but also still keeping it classy. The service is amazingly quick. Ordered mixed drinks that were on the table within 5 mins. Ordered food on the table in 20 with appetizer that came out in between drinks and entreé as of should! Waitress was so very friendly and I love the fact that she asked if our drinks were mixed well very mindful. The price point is spot on l, the food is exceptional. Highly recommend taking a trip here. We will 150% be returning! Thank you for going above and beyond in all you do it's very rare to receive this kind of service!

As a local business owner who has visited this restaurant many times I am tremendously disappointed with what occurred today. My business partner (who happens to be a person of color) was picking up some food and was waiting in line. The host did not acknowledge her presence. In addition two additional customers came in (who just happened to be Caucasian) and they were served and spoken to both before her.

I've been to this establishment frequently and have even met the GM Shaun. I immediately called and was offered a luke warm apology by the manger on duty. They stated that she was not seen. However, it's just hard to understand how you cannot see someone standing directly at your host stand unless you are legally blind.

Either way, you can draw your own conclusion. Myself and our company will not be purchasing food here again.

I would have given them a higher review (the Brussels sprouts are fantastic, so are the chips) but they forgot the stuffed acorn squash in my order (DoorDash refunded me but I would rather have my food). And we just found a small bug crawling in the side Caesar salad. I have been here several times and ordered food on other occasions and this was disappointing. If you order on DoorDash, the UI is confusing so just pay attention with what you’re selecting (eg tomatoes, lettuce, etc - it is very easy to mix up choosing to add something vs exclude it)

We loved The Local!! What a fantastic pub-like atmosphere. The music selection which featured Prince, Men Without Hats and Tears for Fears left us nostalgic. We started our meal with the Burrata app. It was light and delicious. The lasagna (which you can only get on Wednesdays) was a healthy portion as were the two Baja fish tacos. The Asian Honey salad was good, but we probably won’t order it again. We had two delicious fall inspired drinks, Fall Sangria and an Apple Cider Mule. I recommend both! We ended the night with the decadent 5 layer chocolate cake. The best part of the night was our waitress, Alexis. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and down to earth. We couldn’t think of a better way to kick off our Thanksgiving Eve!

My best friend and I enjoyed everything about our experience!! The restaurant is decorated so cute. We loved the set up of the dining room. What we loved the most were the MOST DELICIOUS pumpkin spice espresso martinis with a cinnamon sugar rim, YUM!!! My baked haddock was prepared to perfection, very tender and paired with a delicious baked sweet potato and grilled asparagus. We ended our lovely girl’s night with the warm cookie skillet, with chocolate ganache and vanilla icecream! It was to die for! We would love to return and visit The Local Kitchen & Drinks on our next visit to Wellesley!

Great place to eat. The atmosphere was ideal. Quiet and good service and excellent food. My husband had the classic burger with bacon and cheese. It was so big he almost couldn’t finish it but he did! Too good to leave any behind. Fries came with it and they were hand cut and nice snd crispy and nicely flavored. I ate most of them. I love good fries. I had a baby kale salad with quinoa and avocado and other stuff. I’m not a big fan of kale but the baby kale was so tender and fresh. I really enjoyed the salad but my husband’s burger looked and taste better. Next time I will have that and forego the healthy salad!

My friends and I found this place as it was close to our workplace. The food, dessert and service was phenomenal! Only small feedback item we had was 2:3 drinks we tried we didn't love. I recommend locals to try this, it even has parking!

Our recent experience here was pretty bad. It started out well- we ordered drinks and couple of appetizers which came within a reasonable time. We got fried pickles and dumplings both of which were tasty. Entrees came quickly with the exception of mine which had been put in wrong. The server did not apologize but simply said there was a mixup in the kitchen. He offered no compensation or anything while I watched my entire family eat- as my food did not come until the rest of my family was finished. My husband, who ordered stead tips also had a bad experience with his meal- he ordered steak tips which came with 5 tiny bites of steak and a plateful of baked potato. Our server didn’t check on us once. We had to hunt someone down for water and also to get our check. The restaurant was not busy and this was overall a very disappointing experience. We won’t be back anytime soon.
