Delicious ham and cheese croissant breakfast for about $5.
Parking out front.
Half a dozen tables inside, and a whole salad and sandwich selection and drink cooler to boot!

Wellesley Bakery is counter service and they rush you like you are just another name on a list. The food lands too salty like someone forgot the delicate balance. The scone is dry parched really and falls apart without any grace. It is all flash with little follow through like they care more about the line than the taste. You want a place with soul and care not just a quick pit stop. Here it feels like style trumps substance every time. Such a shame because the neighborhood deserves better than this half-hearted effort.
The Wellesley Bakery is a hidden gem. Not much seating -- more grab and go. Love the salads and wraps, and their soups and baked goods are fabulous. Great lunch choice for those in the area.

Love the breakfast items here! Cinnamon rolls and chocolate croissants are my favorites. Highly recommend trying them out.

I figured I’d stop in a local bakery while visiting Boston, I was greeted by very friendly people and pleased with both the pastries and the special chicken wrap.

Absolutely delicious, a local secret within Wellesley. Particularly recommend the raspberry and chocolate croissant—perfectly flaky and tasty. The quiche were also wonderful.

Great experience! Friendly staff & very good pecan roll and ham and harvati croissant. The Thai iced tea was a bit sweet but they were able to add some unsweetened tea to offset that.

Wellesley Bakery is owned by a lovely Cambodian refugee family and is considered by many as the town's hidden gem. The place itself is unassuming and casual but the food is impeccable and scrumptious. All the baked goods (bread, muffins, pastries), as well as soups, sandwiches, salads, quiches, are freshly prepared and delicious. In a town with people who can afford to eat anywhere, this place has been in business for nearly 30 years because the quality of the food is top notch, the prices are fair, and the people running it are kind and friendly. They are truly a part of the community and have a stream of customers that are both decades long regulars and people making pilgrimages for their pies (special ordered 3 times per year). One of my favorite places in the world for a quick bite. The Super Special Chicken Sandwich, pecan rolls, chocolate chip cookies, Lemon Chicken Soup, and fresh spring rolls are our household favorites.
