Darn good donuts! Freshly made, moist and delicious. Somehow managed to miss this place while driving up and down Rt. 28 until May last day on the Cape. Don’t make the same mistake!
UPDATE: I am delighted to report that Captain Baker may have mastered the maple bacon donut! Other donut shops have offered this item, but I’ve always found them to be lacking bacon or maple flavors. Biting into the Captain Baker Maple Bacon gave the right balance of maple and thick cut smoked bacon!

The donuts that are coming out of Captain Baker’s donut shop are astronomically delicious I love the fact that you can stand there and watch them make the donuts dipping it in the various glazes, adding the toppings fantastic touch. I ordered a dozen donuts and I just said give me your most popular ones too many different flavors and varieties to choose from everything you can tell is made in house which goes to show the high-quality of the donut. As a YouTube food reviewer if you’re ever in Cape Cod and you need or want a tasty donut this could be possibly your best option. I would give 15 stars if I could. I have NEVER had a donut make an impression on my day until this morning. The apple cider donut is absolutely crave worthy and the bagel sandwich was so so tasty. All other donut shops on the Cape are dead to me (yes, you too Dunks).

The storefront is very cute with off-street parking. This is a more customizable donut shop that’s topped to order. They have a selection of donuts with various toppings or you can make your own. The donuts are flaky and crumbles when you bite into them. The toppings are fun and there’s something for everyone. These are normal sized donuts and are pretty light.

Not at all inexpensive.

I did not visit the Donut Shop but have heard great things about it! I took a visit to the small Gift Shop out back and let me just say it’s a must see! Very unique Cape Cod gifts, stickers, jewelry. Handmade items, etc. Great job with the selections! Happy I finally found this little gem!
