Fromage `a Trois The West Village Pasta and Cheese Shoppe

We are not as frequent customers as we would like to be at this lovely shop. But now that we've discovered their Shitake Crimini Mushroom Ravioli, we are there regularly. Perfect as a main course, but we like them as a decadent side for steak. They are sooo good.We've gotten a number of products from here and they have all been top notch. Fresh pasta, burrata, arancini, frozen pastries, bread and cheese.Sure, you'll have to do the dishes but with minimal effort at home or the rental you'll have a meal as good as any around with no lines.So glad they are still there and hope they are around for as long as they want to be!

Product is delicious. We come here when we re close as we live in western mass. Went yesterday first thing when we got on the cape and although the hours posted on the door and website said they should be open, no one was there. We drove back there the next day, she was open which was nice. My wife and I walked in, browsed/shopped for about ten minutes. The entire time the owner was behind the counter ignoring us. Picked up the artichoke stuffed shells today and paired it with the mushroom cream sauce. Outrageously delicious!

It was our first visit to the shop. The smells were amazing, the chef and owner was warm and engaging answered all my question and was very helpful and suggested the perfect dinner for 4. Eggplant Parm, Meatballs with sauce, great pasta and a side of sauce. 4 almond cakes in individual servings. Everything we had was better than any restaurant! The meatballs were delicious, sauces amazing! Eggplant something I never enjoyed until I had theirs, was over the top delicious. I’m so happy I discovered this local jewel!! Might be a little pricey but it’s fresh and you won’t be disappointed!

I attended a pasta class a few weeks ago, and it was wonderful. Chef Kat is a humorous, professional chef. There were 6 of us, the perfect number for the kitchen size. We made lots of delicious pasta,learned many tips on making it, and I’ll definitely try making my own pasta with what I learned. We ended up our class with a wonderful dinner, and lots of good wine that we were able to bring. Went home with a very happy tummy and lots of pasta. Great treat! Candice Flaherty

Great place

My husband and I had two couples visiting us for a few days and we wanted to do something a little different than the normal dinner out evening. So, we scheduled a pasta making class with Chef Kat which ends with a delicious pasta dinner that Chef Kat prepared for us. I am so pleased we did this and can't thank Chef Kat enough for such a great experience. Between learning how to make perfect pasta dough, to learning how to create different pasta shapes, to sitting down with our friends and Chef Kat to enjoy a delicious pasta dinner, the most amazing crusty bread and dipping oils (and of course some wine), the night could not have been any better. Such a great experience! THANK YOU Chef Kat! We will definitely be back to see you, take another class, and to buy some of your scrumptious sauces, bread, etc.

I bought ravioli, pasta, Burrata, cheese dip and more today and it was very clean and the food is delicious!!! You can literally see the women making the pasta and it smells so fresh. She was very nice as well and gave excellent recommendations on what to serve everything with. This is going to be my new favorite pasta shop!

Have enjoyed the raviolis from here many times but... buying them is the issue They are closed Monday and Tuesday so on a visit Thursday am one would expect products to buy. No dice. No raviolis today, tomorrow or the days after; “come back next Wednesday”. Not sure how business owners expect to retain customers but surely not this way. Won’t come back.

The homemade pasta is the best I’ve ever eaten. Short rib ravioli is absolutely divine and let’s not forget the best baguette bread around.

So much fun. Dinner great and we went home with many varieties of pasta that we made ourselves.
