The premise of this place was very exciting when they first opened. We had tickets to a show several months ago. The crowd was sparse. With their reputation, I can see that. We had three Bud lights and another beer and my bill was approximately 45.00 after tip around 54.00. It was not itemized. On our way home I gave the venue a call to find out what a Bud Light cost. I told them I was overcharged. Whoever answered the phone told me to come back. I was already 45 minutes down the road. He gave me his cell number to text. I was most likely charged for the wine on the next table. I called, texted and emailed for days and nobody responded. They had my card so how hard was it to give me a refund? I hope they think overcharging their patrons is cool because I will never step foot in their venue again. This place sucks and I would advise you to avoid it by all means. I know I will and I don’t care who plays there.

The band was great! The staff was very friendly. There was no food, which was disappointing. We went Saturday November 1st and used our debit card to pay for drinks and they also put a 60.00 hold on our card and it's Tuesday and it's November 4th and still have a hold on it. I find that wrong.

A Brazilian event happened on Oct 25th and the hostess was very rude to me and all my friends saying we had fake IDs when we are all 25-30 years old. Her job wasn't even to check the IDs, the security guard checked out IDs and guaranteed they were legit. I'm not sure why they did that but it was very unprofessional and disrespectful! If you want to be mistreated and disrespected, that's the place to go! Totally disappointed.

The party was simply horrible. I’m Brazilian and have lived here for years, and they thought my ID was fake. That makes no sense and was very rude. I felt mistreated.

Buyer BEWARE!! This place is BAD news!! Do more research and you will find MANY bad reviews … especially on Facebook Cape Cod groups and several articles in the Cape Cod Times written about the shady practices and 4.5 million lawsuit against the owner. Shows are canceled without notification and no refunds. You may show up to an empty venue and no recourse. Also, many bands have never been paid for their performances. How the state allows this to continue is appalling.

Paid for a show - 9/26/25 called spoke to Alex as 9/12/25 to confirm as seats were not sold except my table? was reassured show occurring will be sell out - today 9/26/25 NO GO - no show -no longer posted - no phone answer - no notice - THEY HAVE MY MONEY good luck folks

Purchased tickets to an Elvis show on 8/31/25. Travelled from CT and no one was at the venue? No email stating showcase cancelled. No one picked up the phone. Could not leave message, several folks showed up and were angry that there was no show. I’m working with credit card company to get my money back. What a horrible experience and poor management.

SCAM. Beware of this venue. I bought 5 tickets @ $47.00 each to see an Elvis show on 10/31/25. I went at the scheduled show time and there was no one there. Place was closed. No notification that the show was cancelled and I have called to get a resolution every day since with no response. Unfortunately, although I was not aware of it, this place is notorious for cancelling shows and keeping the money. BEWARE. I am out $235.00.

1 star is too high of a rating. The show I was going to attend in April and it was canceled. No email was sent out. Thankfully I went on the website beforehand and found out that way instead of driving 90 minutes for nothing. Still no refund. No return calls and no one answers the phone during business hours. HORRIBLE way to run a business. I will NEVER even think of buying a ticket there regardless who is playing. The Music Room SUCKS!!!!!

***HAD TO POST IN HONOR OF GEOFFREY GILL DUE TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT BLOCKING HIM***Careful using Music Room Cape Cod. I had 4 tickets to this Sundays (7/27/25) Meatloaf show. Last Sunday I went online to see the show time and saw that the show had been cancelled. I did not receive any email or notification from the Music Room Cape Cod. I have not seen it posted on their social media either. I have tried several times to call to inquire about a credit for a future show or refund. Phone just rings and goes to a voicemail that cant take messages because its full. I have sent several Facebook PM's... No response. They do not list an email in their contact info or i would have tried that too. Check Their Google reviews. I am not the only one. All i want is a refund or a credit for a show they cancelled and i have already paid for in full. To add to this, as of yesterday, i have been blocked by their Facebook account. I can no longer send them PM's. All i was looking for was a refund or a credit for another show. I was very polite in my PM's. Make your own judgement, but please check all their reviews before buying anything... Reviews include numerous situations like mine including artists who refuse to play there because they claim they do not get paid. I plan on calling my CC company to see if i can reverse payment (tickets bought month ago). We will see!!! (you can tell i was blocked by them because i couldn't tag them in this post)

Would make ZERO STARS if i could. Had tickets to 7/27/25 Meatloaf tribute band. Went online to see what time, show is cancelled (which is fine, stuff happens). i never received notice of the cancellation, had i not looked, i would have showed up! To make matters worse, i have tried to call the Music Room several times to inquire about a refund/credit. Every time no answer, full voicemail so i cannot leave a message. No email address shown on their website. Sent several messages directly to them on Facebook to inquire about a refund / credit, No response. Horrible customer service.

ADDING- Now they blocked me on Facebook so i cannot message them... They suck..

Bought tickets to a no doubt cover show. The venue cancelled the show on the artist. I found out on the day of concert. No email no call. Booked hotel room for valentines day. The venue DID NOT refund my 4 tickets to a table im some of 160 dollars. I contacted them no answer mailbox full. Policy on website states i can get a credit for the same band when they return. Well i contacted the band and they said they have no interest in returning. The venue still no answer mailbox full emails ignored. If you are a music fan you suggest boycott this place as they are just looking to scam people.

Bought tickets for Peacheaters on 7/8, received an email about place being closed and show cancelled. Phone was disconnected and no one returned several emails. I have since reported them to my bank. They are now suddenly open with bands performing. Horrible, horrible management
