We recently had dinner at Tugboats in Hyannis. The experience was well-organized from start to finish, and they even offered valet parking, which was a nice touch. The food was delicious and of a high standard, especially the seafood dishes – definitely a highlight! Prices were reasonable, and the service was friendly and attentive.

The only drawback was our table placement right by the entrance. The door was constantly opening and closing, which brought in cold drafts, especially on a chilly evening. It was a bit distracting, but overall, it didn’t take away from an otherwise great dining experience. We would still recommend Tugboats and would happily return (hopefully at a different table next time)!

I'll always return to Tugboats. The food is excellent, drinks are cold & strong, service is amazing. Always very lively in the upstairs bar area and no matter how busy... the staff are very attentive and kind.

We were very fortunate to get a table in the bar, because the half hour wait for a table became an hour and a half. Busy on a Saturday night! Free valet parking was a plus.
Service was great in the bar, as was the food, plus ND football on the tv ?☘
Sunset overlooking the harbor was pretty good.

Made a reservation for my birthday. Arrived 10 minutes early and was told it would be a few minutes. That was at 6:50 on sat. Oct 12. We left at 7:30 and went to another rest., got seated and ordered our food before we got message our table was ready at 7:50. Are you freekin kidding me? No excuse for this!! We made a reservation!! I recommend the bar... Great view, delicious cocktails and the same food menu as below... A great lobster roll and a cold beer at sunset... It couldn't be nicer. Main restaurant rather loud and like a canteen. Terrace better but always very crowded.

Two stars overall because the place is at a beautiful location and the staff was friendly, but the food was awful. I dont know whether to blame the chefs or the ingredients they source which are obviously all straight from the freezer. The lobster corn chowder tasted like a frozen lobster cheese soup. Not sure how it passes as corn chowder. The rangoon special was also straight from a freezer and over fried. I am pretty sure they were fried in the same oil that clearly wasn’t changed all day (I hope not longer) because they were so dark and overcooked. Salmon was bland. The seafood ravioli was extremely disappointing. It was 4 raviolis and all the seafood tasted as if it had been sitting in dirty ocean water right before being tossed in the sauce. You would have thought they had better sourced, quality, and fresh ingredients giving the atmosphere. Nope. Just the freezer special. The most delicious dish of the night was the side of broccolini and plain white rice.

Not worth the price.

Clam chowder was the best chowder I ever had, so far. Seafood sampler was perfect. Fried calamari were a bit too dry.
