Okay it’s timeI stopped coming here after being a long time consumer.I’ve been a pescatarian for over 2 decades. It’s certainly difficult to find places that own their vegetarian menus vs it’s being one item at the bottom of side dish menu at most establishments.Clover owns being vegan/veggie friendly—AWESOMEHOWEVER. The food quality, ingredients and price points do not align.I’m in NYC routinely (just got back from another trip) and I found myself in a conversation talking about how insanely delicious falafel dishes are in NY. The portion & sides you’re getting is what you’d expect. Lofty, filling and mouth watering. And for the same price at clover I’m getting microscopic deep fried batter balls with side dishes that make your stomach rumble afterwards.I never quite felt right after eating their food and my husband can vouch the grand differences in cost and quality.Farewell friends. It was a good ride

I absolutely love their "chickpea fritter" sandwich. I could eat one every day. I've never been disappointed by anything I've gotten at Clover. The Westford clover is inside Whole Foods.

This review is for the Westford location only. I was excited to get the Nashville hot mushroom as I thoroughly enjoyed it last year although the powder was a bit much. I was a little reluctant to order from this location but I took a chance and oh boy! The portion of food I received was literally half of what I usually receive at other locations. The fries were burnt and size of a kid McDonald fries and my sandwich was full of the corn cream mayo but only half portion of the mushroom. I threw half of my sandwich away. I didn’t like the cream of mayo and I don’t recall it being on the sandwich last year. I did like the fact there’s sauce instead of the powder.

The food, when done correctly, is very good. I'm no vegetarian, but the food here is very tasty. However, multiple times I've had wrong food given to me in my order. When I used to live in Burlington, the Clover location there was a lot more consistent. I get that the location in Westford is in a smaller space in Whole Foods, so I still buy here from time to time, but if you are in range of other Clover locations, it's better to eat at those places.

I was a little confused at what to order and the very friendly human behind the counter was patient and I had a great meal!

It took me awhile to get on here but it’s time. I am blown away by the efforts this company is making to remain meat free. My complaints with them is cooking consistency.I visit the Westford location weekly. Sometimes twice and it’s a 50/50 shot whether or not my order will be cooked correctly. I’ve had side dishes like the curried carrots and the carrots were hard as a rock. Potatoes that were too hard or too soggy. The falafel balls are now almost guaranteed to be hard and over cooked every time I go. To the point of almost chipping teeth several times. This is due to the fact that the falafel balls are wayyyy to small to even be consider falafel. I get that this is supposed to be a modest portioned meal. Which is completely fine, but it would be better to serve three medium sized falafels so you can actually taste the ingredients and not charred deep fried batter. We’ve decided to stop our visits until the quality improves.

Our lunch today was maybe the best we’ve ever had at this location. Whoever was cooking was doing an exceptional job!
I had the vegan bbq seitan sandwich and it was delicious, only thing is I’m not sure if it’s actually vegan because typically mayo contains egg but still a great sandwich.Edit: love that response and that sandwich, highly recommendVegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan options

The food at clover lab inside Whole Foods is so much better than all of the other Whole Foods prepared food that honestly I don't know why people buy stuff from the hot bar. Everything that I've tried at clover lab has been impeccably flavored, well thought out, very wholesome, unprocessed, it tastes like the food was actually made by someone with intentional goodness in their heart, if you believe in that stuff! It costs a bit more, but I do not mind paying because I feel like I am contributing to a good business. Plus, the food is absolutely worth it. According to the shopping bag that the food comes in, clover lab was started by vegan MIT grads who are trying to introduce vegan food to the communities.

Clover Food Lab has a real nerve to call this healthy. Take a look at the sodium and sugar contents. OUTrageous!! So this means it is really NOT healthy..why is it that restaurants that call themselves "healthy" are really NOT healthy?! Look into the sugar and sodium content and things look different. It seems to be one of the last things people think of when they're either eating at a restaurant or cooking in one!
