Each order they hand stretch and “ bang, bang” the noodle per order. The soup came out piping hot. Great aroma. The 1st sip very flavorful w a touch of spice providing the right kind of bite. This broth has the taste of comfort and soothing to the soul. The noodles we thick, chewy and great texture. The soup and noodle I give 5stars. The portions could have been larger which is why I took off 1 ⭐️. If your looking for a authentic hand made to order noodle w great broth this is it.

Ordered for the first time yesterday on doordash.Wow ??? I got the extra spicey. My nose was running from the heat which is what i totally wanted! The flavor was incredible and ratio of noodles to meat to veggies to broth was perfect.I loved how thick the noodles were and those were super tasty too!I wish they were open every day because it's a solid 10/10Defintely reccomend

For Westford, this place genuinely surprised me for pulled noodles. I have not tried anything else on the menu yet, but being a regular in China Town, this place is a close reminiscent if you are looking for pulled noodles in the lower Middlesex area. Looking forward to the next dishes I will definitely continue to get pulled noodles here in the future !!

We discovered this place close to kids training gym. What a gem hidden in Westford. The food is really authentic and delicious. Ever dish we tried has been super yummy. Highly recommend!

Both dishes I've ordered (on two separate occasions) were full of flavor and had a delicate texture. The hand-pulled noodles had the perfect amount of spice and saltiness. My only recommendation is eating them ASAP, before they start to stick together. The hot and sour dumpling soup was miles above the disgusting hot and sour soups at typical "American style" Chinese food restaurants. Subtle sweetness, and acidity that complemented the saltiness, plus the brightness of the cilantro. The people who work there are kind and happy to provide recommendations. Ready fast and easy to pickup. A small, humble joint that spends its time and effort on food rather than fancy appearance.

If you haven't tried Gene's yet, you haven't tasted the best noodles around.
We moved from China a few months ago, and were excited to find out that there was a Xi'an style restaurant nearby. I'm from Mass, my wife is from Hunan, and we lived in Guangdong, down in the South, but our favorite noodles were from Xi'an and Lanzhou (probably a tall order, but if anyone knows of a Lanzhou lamian place in the greater Boston area, *please* lmk). Gene's Chinese Flatbread Cafe's noodles are spot on, pretty much exactly as we had in Xi'an a few weeks before we moved back. I especially loved the cold noodles, but honestly they were all great. I 100% recommend this place to anyone who wants to try authentic but still accessible, regional Chinese cuisine, or who is homesick and wants some familiar tastes. Prices are good, service is prompt and friendly, and most importantly, the food is great!

Let me start off by saying I never write reviews, and by never this is my first ever. I am a huge fan of soup and their house noodle soup (not spicy version) is the best soup I have ever had period. I can't recommend this place enough, their food is fantastic.

Every time i'm in massachusetts i always go to genes. best chinese food hands down i've ever had. the service is always super friendly and the noodles are made fresh on the spot. pretty quick and warm when you get them. I always go for the #4 class hand pulled noodles and the cumin lamb skewers. i have never been disappointed by genes and they never fail to amaze me. cant think of a better meal!
