Went there Friday night. Hit some softball. Played a round of golf. Ate a couple lobster rolls. We got… or tried to get the steamers. They were horrible. I was afraid to eat them! I was going to get food poisoning!!! The belly’s where all browns and the necks where not intact. When I tried to clean them in the hot water they disintegrated. I have never had that happened before. Either you have young kids cooking and don’t know what they are doing or you have rotten clams. After that I was afraid to eat the lobster rolls.
Animal Adventures was not there today yet the Kimball Farms employees could not give us an answer as to whether they were showing up or not. I called Animal Adventures and they said they only do weekends there now and do not know why the Kimball Farms employees did not tell all the people waiting for the attraction to open this fact. The on-site signage said it would be open at 10am then another right by it said it would be open for animal shows at 11am, 12pm, etc. Also, their food and ice cream is WAAAYYYY too overpriced. An order of five mozzarella sticks cost $16! There are better run and better priced places to take the family for outdoor fun such as Davis Farmland or Old Sturbridge Village. This place really is just a tourist trap--especially during the weekdays.
Always a good visit, and a beautiful ride out.
I love this place. The ice-cream is by far the best in New England. The friendly staff is great. The food is great. The recreation is fun. BUT. PLEASE STOP USING BITTER ALMOND FLAVORING. The sugar-free pistachio flavor is horrible. It reminds me of a leather dye for shoes. BTW pistachio tastes nothing like bitter almond. It would be a thousand times better without it.
Great place, kids love it
Packed, long lines for eating, rides, bathroom. Should be a cutoff after it is that full. We parked in the third parking lot. 🙄
Fun place to spend day with kids with lots of icecream flavors. I prefer to have a set fee for all activities rather than pay for each activity separate.
So much fun! Great adventure with the kids. Lots to do. Everyone is very friendly and food was good!
The kids liked the mini-golf (we did both courses). Ice cream selection was huge!
Came here with my 2 children. Spent $50 on: 1 smallest size icecream ($6 and change) 1 bottle of water ($3) 1 hot dog kids meal (with stale chips) ($9) 1 chicken finger kids meal (with old fries) ($12) 3 minutes of 2 kids on bumper cars ($20 in itself- Absolutly, Positively, Insane). Younger male workers swearing and other younger male workers acting like you’re a bother when you ask them to show the kids how to use the bumper cars. They’re all on their phones. Kids 5 and under can’t use the bumper boats, even with parents in the boats with them (they let you at Clark’s trading post, which is a way better place to spend your money btw). Just all around a crap experience. A totalllll money grab. It could be awesome, but it just leaves you with a bad vibe overall. We will not be back. My only positive is that the water was cold.

My bumper boat kept switching off. They were hosting a company and the team from the company basically took over all the rides.

Had the Thanksgiving sandwich. Really good. Large sandwich. Parking especially during summer is not always easy for people having walking problems. For people in the area it sure would be nice if you had half gallons thru the holidays. Vanilla, Maple Walnut, Coffee, Oreo
