Ordered the pad Thai and satay for delivery, both were inedible. The satay tasted and looked like it was boiled in coconut milk. The pad Thai didn’t have any tamarind and tasted like rice noodles with a few peanuts and pepper flakes sprinkled in and water left on the bottom.Vegetarian options: I can’t tell if they use fish sauce since everything was so watered down, but likely want to note that since most people forget that is not consistent with a vegetarian diet.Dietary restrictions: They have an option to check allergens to avoid.

I will give Thai on the Fly some credit for being open in the area for a decent amount of time. It’s easy to miss as it’s tucked back off the road in a dismal mini strip mall type structure but they can’t help that. Especially as a take out joint, it’s all about the food. They’re local to me and we have tried them periodically over the years and it just always disappoints.Today I decided to snag a lunch special, the Pad Sew Ew which is such a classic Thai dish. To my dismay I opened the container to see this dish just swimming in broth, I honestly could have used a spoon. Selected the spice level 3 , which was nice, and I actually enjoyed the chicken but the presentation was abhorrent with the amount of liquid. The spring rolls that come with it were cold, they felt like a toss in item and honestly are not needed.Lastly, and shame on me, I went with chicken wings. The item feels like something trying to appeal to Americans or a family making a compromise on what take out for the night. For 8 dollars the container looked like something you’d get as a small leftover container from a restaurant with 5 very small wings that were borderline soggy. I ordered and left home within minutes of ordering, food had just come out, the pad sew ew was hot and I only live 5 minutes away. Sad to see both the wings and spring rolls be almost cold.As it’s so close I’m desperate to love this place but it always leaves me feeling meh. I’d rather drive the extra 15 minutes and go to Thai Chili in Maynard which blows this place out of the water.

As mentioned in the other review, the dish (pad Thai) was not stir-fried. It was so watery that I was not sure if it was a Thai dish. Don't waste money here as there are much better Thai food places in the area. Also it seems this place only has take-out, no dine-in option.

hate to leave a bad review but stay away. No personal service, only automated online. Had issue with our order and nobody to get ahold of. Also says open till 9 but the automated online only system doesn't take orders after 815.

Very expensive for what it is. The dishes were pracrically a soup, with half of the container filled with fluid. It’s not a restourant, just a ghost kitchen for take out. It should not cost $16 a container. No sitting area.

Take out place with a few chairs outside. Most authentic Thai place in the area and great food.Vegetarian options: Tofu or veg offerings in all curries and noodles

Redemption. This time they were open and the food was great. Good portion size too. Glad I tried again.

I ordered a Pad Kra Pao with beef and the included picture is what I received. When I asked for the dish, the woman up front asked me what protein I wanted. This included a shrimp option, which I thought was odd in this context, since it's typically a dish with ground protein and shrimp would be unusual. I opted for beef since it's the typical ground protein we have access to here. What I got was a beef stir fry / boil with more vegetables than meat when it is supposed to be a ground meat forward dish. I'm not even sure what to call it, it doesn't resemble any Pad Kra Pao I've ever had. The 'pad' in Thai implies 'fried' and I don't think anything here was actually fried.. except maybe the chef?I threw my entire lunch away and wasted 15 dollars. Don't waste your money here either.

Last month we ordered pad thai and drunken noodles, both arrived swimming in liquid and oil as though they were a soup. Last night we ordered two stir frys and these also arrived filled to the brim with liquid and oil. Absolutely ridiculous..stir fry and noodle dishes should be mostly dry with no water swimming in the bottom. I wish the owner would address why the food is so watery and fix it. Basic cooking techniques are lacking in the kitchen. We won’t order from here again.

Decent food if you want a lazy night in, great portions too! The pad thai and chicken wing sides weren't bad, a little mild in flavor.

Ordered Pad Kee Mao take out and was extremely disappointed. The food was incredibly bland, almost no flavor at all -- and I selected Spice Level 4. A total waste of money. I ordered six months ago and the same thing happened. I thought I’d give the restaurant another try, but got the same result. It’s clear ownership doesn’t care about quality or attention to detail.

Threw take out away tonight. Rice was definitely microwaved in a thin plastic bag. Fresh rolls seemed like they were accidentally included in the microwave plastic. Could not in good conscience feed this food to my family. Used to be our go to for Thai, but after three terrible experiences in a row, 2 safety concerns, I'm out...
