Cozy and friendly neighborhood restaurant with amazing food! The hollandaise sauce for the eggs Benedict is especially delicious. Charming and eclectic decor, with crayons available for the young (and young at heart).

I drew a thank-you picture on the back of my placemat, and the next time I returned, Beaver gave me stickers he had made from my drawing! We love the Village Store!

The prices were quite reasonable. I ordered a hamburger, and it came in a sandwich form. I wish the bun and patty hadn't been standard supermarket fare. The coffee was quite light. The kitchen is open, so you can see what's and how it's being cooked. The service is very attentive and polite. I hope it stays in business; it's a place where local middle-aged and older people meet. The customers are also very polite and greet everyone warmly.

I have passed by this spot a few times and finally decided to stop in for a breakfast sandwich. The staff was great, extremely friendly! My sandwich was fresh, delicious, and was made very quickly! I highly recommend checking out this small business!

We have been here a few times and loved it. So delicious, so cozy, and so welcoming. Just drove past and saw they've put a pride flag out 🥲 so, now I'll be making even more of a concerted effort to stop and support here ❤️ We love a small business who supports human rights 💗👏

I've popped into this place twice now while I was over at the nearby Mill Works for an athletic event with my kid. I usually bring my dog with when we go to these events at Mill Works and leave him in the car (weather permitting) & walk him periodically. Anyway, while walking through the Abbot Mill area, noticed this appealing place over on the corner. I was so excited to realize it was a little breakfast/lunch place, just the kind of casual place I love with yummy food. The service is excellent (I've only had to-go so not sit down) and the coffee is wonderful (I am not a starbucks fan so always happy to see a diner/cafe brewing something other than that) even though I get decaf they have some or will brew some fresh and have plenty of flavors to add. Got a breakfast sandwich this weekend and was nice and fresh and yummy. The homefries are chunks of real potatoes. I think next time I will try breakfast tots with the sandwich :-) . This place makes me look forward to the next event at the mill works, even though it's almost an hour drive from where I live. Recommend this place !

A Forge Village secret! French toast with REAL maple syrup. Bacon and sausage cooked to perfection. Homemafe chocolate milk. Service person was friendly and welcoming. Funky and eclectic decor and old local photos.

The waitress and owner we're very welcoming and have witty personalities. The experience has left me wanting to come back for the atmosphere the place but the food is the BOMB. The owner takes his craft seriously and does a phenomenal job delivering just that. If your looking for a cozy, little nook for you and your partner I would recommend this diner to be your next stop. Thank you for your hospitality.

Dietary restrictions: Dairy options if your lactose intolerant

Parking: You can park any where near the diner or near the local store.

Kid-friendliness: There's enough room for a family of four but not enough for a family of six because you never know how busy it's going to get.
