My expectations were too high for this place. All summer, I received emails with food specials, and they all looked scrumptious. My baked haddock parmesan didn't look great sitting in butter and wasn't tasty unless I used a lot of fresh squeezed lemon. My spouses coconut shrimp was good with an overabundance of onion rings as a side. I had the same side. They were great, but way too many to eat. We did have dessert. I had coffee frozen yogurt - excellent. My spouse had a soft serve twist dipped in chocolate that looked fabulous and was enjoyed!
Parking: There is plenty of parking on either side of the restaurant.

Kay's is a summertime staple for the surrounding area. Their food and of course ice cream is great, and the area itself is a fairly flat and wide place to hang out.

I wish I could do less than 1 star. I have come here a handful of times and have NEVER had this kind of experience. The cashiers were rude, and condensending. They do not value customer service. The manager refused to chat with me when I wanted to make an official complaint she wanted to have the discussion infront of other customers and all the employees. In my opinion very unprofessional. The cashier was rushing and didnt want to listen to reason refused to add or make adjustments before order was paid for and then got upset and slammed the window in my face all because I tried to get them to fix the mistake. I was asked what they could do to make things better and with some thought, they can change their attitude and use some customer service training. Thank you.

This place is OK. Have been there twice now and both times the cashier has forgotten to give us the ice cream shakes we ordered. The seafood is better than the hotdog for sure. Just make sure you get what you paid for!

Being upcharged without being told there is a charge is rediculous. Then when you ask for a refund due to a misleading menu that doesn't have information regarding the ridiculously high substitution charge, till after you pay and cannot be refunded and or refused. Definelty be careful buying from this shady place.
