I did not think that the food reached the standard they expressed on their menu. My duck dinner , the duck was a bit dry, the chicken on the Cobb salad was dry and clam chowder a little thin for my liking. The burternut squash was more like butternut sugar. Their sweet rolls and and fritters were great. My husband said the chicken vegetable pie was great.
I have been coming to The Old Mill since I was a child, over 50 years. I have held a rehearsal dinner for my son’s wedding there a few years ago- which was excellent. Our most recent was yesterday and it was generally very good, though I have noticed a couple of issues in recent visits. The atmosphere is unbeatable and the food is very good.
