Waffle was warm and soft, but a little pricey. Although this is to be expected as you are at wachusett.

I met my friend from work for a quick catch-up and she suggested this gaff. There was a little nip in the air so I fancied a warning hot chocolate (with Nutella) and my chum went for a coffee. Staff friendly. Drinks looked really good with the fancy-pants barista detailing on the surface. No pic unfortunately. I loved my chocolate and my pal felt the same for her coffee. Double delight.

Rude rude barista … I ordered an oat latte from her and she made it with milk then was so rude when I told her I was allergic to milk and paid for pay as I was happy to pay extra. She said you ordered milk so rudely.. I said forget it don’t worry keep the money and she slammed the hatch window shut. Could be a lot nicer!

Waffle was great, but the apple cider was terrible. Wasn't even cider. Tasted like weak tea.

There are no complaints about the Nutella hot chocolate. Its delicious as ever but skip lunch. I ordered a Chipotle chicken salad and there was nothing Chipotle about the chicken. The chicken smells bad and tasted old and dry. It takes a bit more than pouring salsa and throwing in the dry jalapeños. The avocado looked gorgeous but sadly it had that chicken all over it so made it smell.

We used to be regular customers for years and the we enjoyed supporting this small chain. Unfortunately recently the staff seem to have changed and like the previous reviewer mentioned the quality depends on the server. Today the server said the new rule was you can only swap 2 ingredients in the salad, Due to dietary restrictions this is a problem - in the past they would allow swaps (as should be the case- this is just a cafe not a michelin starred restaurant) . The server did not seem to care and when i got home I realised she had even forgotten the quinoa. The salad was bland and not worth the price for a take-away. There are plenty of restaurants including Leon, Pret and Sapori down this road - go to any of them and you will get better service. Such a shame. The owners used to be frequently be in the cafe pre-covid and I suspect that is why it used to be good - now it is left to unfriendly employees to the detriment of th business.
