overpriced for the amount of food you get. got a medium ice cream in a waffle cone and the server didn't even fill it over the cone, i asked about it and she said it was the normal amount...

Perfect place for an ice cream on route 117. You can't help but stop here on a beautiful day to grab lunch and some treats.

Made two separate stops here. The first one I checked online to see if they were open and they were so I went. We pulled into the lot and the place was closed up. No idea why, but this was upsetting cause it was a 40 minute drive to get there for nothing, with no updates on social media saying they were closed for the day. There wasn't any sign either saying like the power went out or something, just a normal closed sign during their normal business hours.Tried again another time when I was in the area and they were open this time. Just went here for the ice cream. It was fine, it was the equivalent of the kind you can make at home with a bag of milk, ice, and sugar, but was $8 for a not very large cup. I didn't get any food, but the prices for that also seemed ridiculous, being $18 for a chicken tender meal. Won't be a go again for me, but maybe it's someone else's gig!

Stopped randomly to get ice cream - $6.10 for a kid sized cone of vanilla softserve?! and it wasn't even that good of ice cream, tastes more like ice milk. Couldn't even finish it. Felt robbed. I mean, a small cone of this quality should be $2. My kid refused to eat it and it gave me a stomach ache. ?

I didn’t have ice cream but this seems like a popular spot for locals to have a treat.Their fried shrimp are huge and served piping hot with cocktail sauce. The fries are crispy. I like that they have a self serve water station too. They have ample parking and picnic tables in the seating area.

I have grown up with dairy joy and I love it. However, they hired one cashier this summer who does NOT know how to give change. Every single time she gives me the WRONG amount if change. I told her today she owed me more than was given, and STILL after she gave me more change it was LESS than what was owed. If you're going to be a cash only business you need to hire people that know how to give back the proper amount of change. It feels fishy...

Food quality seems to be lacking for the cost, ice cream is solid but the fried seafood was lacking flavor and was bland. Tables outside have seen better days and the bee situation is out of control you cant even sit down.

I've been going to Dairy Joy for over 50 years. They never disappoint. My favorites are the onion rings and the raspberry soft serve.

Great food, Happy workers, picnic tables, swirly ice cream, jimmies. Plenty of parking, One cannot find a better place to eat in Weston since 1961!

Their machine for their dairy free flavor is almost always broken or they've run out. In addition, they close at random times and don't communicate the times they close.

Truthfully, Dairy Joy does not have the best fried clams or ice cream, but the roadside stand offers a quintessential taste of summer in New England. If you are looking for something nostalgic, I would recommend stopping by. I believe Dairy Joy is at least 60 years old by this point. The lines get pretty long in warmer weather but it's a nice place to bring the kids.

I've been going to Dairy Joy for 30 years and it's only gotten better. It's a real New England experience, especially if you like seafood (lobster rolls, fried clams, etc), and they have some of the best soft serve ice cream around, including some swirl flavors you won't find elsewhere, like Javaberry. My family and I love bringing friends and family from out of town because it's outdoors, it's old school, it's casual, and the food is really excellent. Great service, plus more items, specials, and flavors each year. Get there before they close for the season!

Had an urge for the good old fashioned soft serve. Was a bit disappointed due to it being not as creamy as it was in the good old days. Could only get chocolate dip too, no other flavor like strawberry etc.

Really bad, and so overpriced. Bland hamburger, watery milkshake, tiny portion of fries that left even my two year old needing more, cash only, lots of tables missing umbrellas. Would not return, regret the money spent unfortunately.

Can’t believe I just paid $26 for a small ice cream cone (McDonald’s size) and a solitary burger. Beyond ridiculous prices. My local ice cream place gives huge servings which justifies the price (and is still cheaper than here)
