Let me start by saying we have always loved Dumpling Daughter and have been coming here for a few years as a treat since we live an hour away. This time however on 12/12/25, we were disappointed in the quality of the bao buns. The BBQ pork ones were normal, but the minced beef and onion were tiny and chewy, flavor wasn't good, not at all what they should be. We ended up throwing the beef and minced onion away. And whoever packed them knew the quality was wrong as they packed...
Food and service were awesome. We have very happy bellies. Atmosphere is what you can expect with counter service with table delivery. Our daughter graduated from a nearby college and we were happy to have a reason to come back and visit.
A huge variety of dishes from dumpling to buns to noodles to soups, lots of options for lots of tastes. Service is quick and polite and the food is always good. Be aware there is limited cell signal and no public WiFi so consider this a screen free dinner for your group.
