Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza & Wings

Always great food and service at Anthony’s University Station. However, the last three times I’ve been in here, there is a foul, sewer stench emanating from the bar area. The staff are aware and are doing their best, but it is readily apparent that management doesn’t care. Anthony’s: please support your great workers and fix this horrible smell!

Best pie yet at this Anthony's location and the manager was very gracious.

Best pizza for miles. Crispy.

Mikes hot honey wings were bomb, more honey than heat. Margherita pizza was so good nothing was left over. Staff was amazing and helped us out with any requests dietary or family. Would love to have one open near me!!

Good pizza, service was good, table and floors were sticky. Spend more time cleaning.

Service in a totally empty restaurant was sooooo slow. Food was mediocre

I struggled with this one. So, please keep in mind that a review is only an opinion, disguised as a review.

The food was tasty, but… dry. The pizza was a large with pepperoni and onion. It was good except they splatter the sauce (you know, to be different). This left much of the pizza with zero sauce. Then there were puddles of sauce dabbed around the pizza. Just not my cuppa tea, maybe. But the wings. We’re totally overcooked and dried out. So, the whole experience was just not good. The staff was fine. But, there didn’t seem to be any attention given to the food. For the amount that I paid? Nah.

PS. A small blue cheese for 10 pice wings? Corporate Crap !

Nothing over the top with decent food but not much room.

This place has gone way down hill! I met friends there last night for dinner. Two of us grabbed seats at the bar while we waited for another friend. It took at least 15 minutes before anyone showed up behind the bar to take our drink order. When our food came out, they only gave us one fork and we had to ask a few times for them to bring two more. We had to flag down the bar tender each time we wanted a drink . After we were finished eating, there was no one in site so that we could get the bill. Wouldn’t rush back.

Delicious food

We ordered a half cauliflower half margarita pizza that had no taste and hardly cooked along with eggplant that was mushy. We also ordered dry rub 10 wings that were sweet and inedible. Their Meatballs were still tastey. It's sad because the food use to be good.

Great pizza and a good bar. You can tell it's the type of place people return to. Looking forward to moving into the apartments behind it and coming often!

Always great food, great service and great atmosphere

I think the food is excellent. The pizza is classic in design but sophisticated on the palate due to its charred style. Goes amazing with beer or wine. The wings are the best wings in town. It’s also nice to see they added flavors to their wings. I wish the online ordering had a classic pie option ie. house cheese. You have to build it in create your own. Prices are seriously normal for a large pie I’m not sure why people say otherwise.
