My sister found Bertie's and brought us right back to childhood. Remember the Friendly's Oreo Ice Cream Cake? (With the thick cookie bottom?! And fudge!) Bertie's makes an even better version!
A friend brought a group of us there last week for ice cream. We all enjoyed what we ordered, staff was helpful and friendly.
Eating outside on the patio in front was pleasant - it was far enough away from the street to carry on a pleasant conversation.

I was passing through to get to Boston when my family wanted some ice cream after dinner. we stumbled upon Berties and we were extremely satisfied. The ice cream was delicious and the employees were extremely nice and attentive. The place was really clean and there was seating outside to enjoy the nice weather.
