for almost a decade I've been buying food here. Last week we ordered for pick up 2 Chicken Caesar Wrap and meat balls.

The Chicken Wrap was just all romaine lettuce, maybe 4 pcs slices of chicken didn't even tasted the Caesar dressing. Not worth the price and getting back...people need to know your service and quality of food is bad.

Comella’s is around 20 minutes away from me but I decided to give it a whirl since I’ve heard good things. For one thing they spelled my name “yan” which isn’t a huge deal but when you have a guy yelling “pick up order for yan!” And you have to walk up as an italian guy named Ryan, it’s a little embarrassing. Then they also gave me a veal Parmigiana sandwich when I asked for chicken parmigiana and ziti. I’m just assuming the guy taking my order was hard of hearing, but if you put in an order over the phone don’t be surprised if they give you grilled alligator instead of a cheese pizza. My mom liked her butternut squash ravioli though so I guess the food is good (I wouldn’t know).

I love Comellas. Especially the meatballs. But. Lately I've been getting the mess dishes. I've had them in the past and have been very satisfied. In particular Grampas and Pa's. You'll be lucky to get a half of a meatball. All pasta. In the Grampas, maybe a half a meatball and half a sausage.
Never going back again.

Staff is always very friendly. Food has been consistently good. Have big tables to sit our big party

Great Italian food. Very clean and much of their business is from repeat customers. Easy parking, plenty of seating, a large room for a big group.

Small portion … 1/2 a sub. Looks to be exactly 1/2 of what is shown in the menu which shows 2 halves….
Same with 3 other sandwich subs or whatever they are calling them lol…
Total bait and switch !!
Now I guess we remember why we don’t go here much even though less than a mile away

Just walked out of Comella’s in Westwood today after being ignored by the two girls from behind the counter. For the record, I am a regular take out customer there and the food is always good. However, this afternoon (07/07/24) I arrived with my wife and stepson and we decided to eat in. The restaurant was not busy, i.e., no one at the takeout counter and no one was seated at the tables. I asked if table service was available or should we place an order at the counter. The girl replied, no, you can sit wherever you’d like and someone will be over to take your order. Several minutes passed so my wife asked this time if table server was available . Once again the girl behind the counter said someone would be along. Several more minutes passed and the second counter server just stared down ignoring us completely. So, we stood up and left. I would have voiced my displeasure to the pair behind the counter but why bother? I mean if they were happy to ignore us why then would they care if we left? However, I’ll bet the owner of Comella’s cares. Just check the security cameras and see for yourself how useless your counter girls were to us!

Moved to the Boston suburbs from NJ, and Comella’s pizza has been our saving grace. By FAR the best pizza we have tried in the are!
