Decided to check out Muffin House Cafe for a morning pastry since I was in the area. This was my first time coming across one, so I didn't realize it was a chain. The inside was very spacious, and there were people eating and working but no line. They have other pastries besides muffins such as doughnuts, cookies, and croissants. They sell sandwiches as well.I got a blueberry muffin because that seemed like their most popular based on reviews. It was $4 for a decent size. The inside was moist, but the top had a crunch. The top was too sweet because of the sugar crystals, while the rest of the muffin was almost bland, which is better than the entire muffin being overly sweet, but I would have preferred the flavor to be balanced throughout.Overall, it wasn't a bad muffin, but I found it comparable to the large blueberry muffins from BJs or Costco, which isn't necessarily a dig as many people enjoy those--it is only to say that I was satisfied but would not go out of my way to come back.

Last three times I’ve been there they got my order wrong. Half the staff is out to lunch and has no clue what is going on. One staff member asked what I wanted three times and didn’t even write it down, then began to insult me as I was checking out.

I could not recommend this place more. From the service to the food, 10/10. Melissa is the absolute best! I will go out of my way to stop at Muffin House for a coffee or sandwich just to say hello to Melissa. As someone who works in hospitality and customer service, she NAILS it. You can tell she cares about making her guests happy and that she’s great at what she does. Jess and the rest of the staff are also phenomenal! I’m so happy this location is so convenient for me because I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else for a coffee or breakfast sandwich - not to mention the muffins and pastries! I bring a box of goodies whenever I have an event or am a guest at someone’s house and they’re always a hit!

Another fine experience at the Muffin House! Cassie served up a perfectly crafted cappuccino and the customer service under Melissa’s leadership continues to be superb.

WOW!!! This morning when I woke up I told my husband I can't wait any longer... I have to get a Muffin House blueberry muffin... simply the best ever made! However, we decided to try MH for lunch!!! Insert BIGGER WOW! I had the cranberry chicken salad on the freshest croissant! Recommend by Kealani! What a fabulous gal! So sweet, beautiful smile, incredibly welcoming, and great ambassador of the cafe!! Ya just don't see a lot of people these days that love what they do. Muffin House is definitely doing things right! Wonderful experience... we came from an hour away but won't hesitate to become regulars!

Best blueberry muffin I ever had. Coffee not so good. I ordered a cappuccino but tasted more like a latte weak coffee with a lot of milk. Service was very slow and I guess because it was one hour before closing all workers were cleaning, spraying the windows, loud vacuum, while there were 3 tables of customers. Hard to say relaxing atmosphere even though the place looks nice. Also the credit card machine was not working, had to try 4 times.

One of the girls served there was extremely rude. This service is the WORST I had in long long time. And, the wrap today was also super salty. But compared to service, it wasn’t that bad

This was our first time successfully eating at the Westwood location. This place is always hopping! Other times we couldn't find parking - not because there isn't parking, but because the parking and the restaurant were full! This is clearly a beloved spot. The muffins looked AMAZING, but we didn't indulge today. We came in and got in line and our order was taken promptly. They gave us a buzzer and then we kind of intuited that we were supposed to stand by the register until our drinks come up and then pay. The registers had footage of their newspots on their screen so we watched that until our drinks came and we paid. There was no where to sit inside so we ventured outside. It was cold but the sun was warm. If there were pads on the metal chairs then the porch seating would have been a viable option. But without it our bums were just too cold. It would be awesome if they offered a stack of chair pads to bring out and bring back in as wanted. The deck is great though! I'm sure it's awesome in the summer. We lucked out and a table became available soon after we came back in and then our buzzer rang and we got our food. We each got breakfast sandwiches. The bagel it was on was great as was the rest of the sandwich. My mocha was also tasty and my husband said the cappuccino was fine. We had a nice time. It's a bit of a drive for us and it's so busy all the time, so it won't become a regular spot for us - but maybe we'll try the one that is supposed to open in Walpole! We definitely went to the one in Medway completely by chance a few years ago and it was equally busy and clearly beloved. A great restaurant. So great you have to compete with everyone else who likes it! =)

I had never been here before. I ordered a holiday pie from here; I had a scheduled a specific time to pick it up. While I waited, I ordered the strawberry cheesecake muffin and the banana nut blueberry muffin. Both were delicious. When I went to get my pie, someone asked me to wait, and they would be back. No one came back, I waited 20 minutes before I asked if I could be helped again. My pie was sitting there the whole time. The woman who helped apologized numerous times and was so very nice and helpful. I can't express enough how great she was. Her customer service ensured I will absolutely be back soon. Great place. Oh, and I almost ate the entire pecan pie by myself. :)

Want to love this place, but as of now I only like this place. I would love to see more vegetarian-friendly food options that aren’t just veggie wrap & salad!also, please stop using a truly disturbing amount of egg in your wraps - i got a mexican wrap that should have had like 1/4 the amount of egg it did and the onions were dead rawbut will still come back and see if i can find something i like more bc the vibe of the place is overall nice!
