Aki poke bowl and pappardelle bolognaise were very good. Chicken picatta was not as good as last time we were in. Service was terrific.
My family has always love going to Not Your Average Joes. But this time the experience or at least the food was terrible. They have a whole new menu and have dropped off one of my daughters favorites. We tried two of the newest dishes. One was fantastic, but the other was not edible. Also, I got an old standby, the mustard chicken, but it tasted really different, not in a good way. Hopefully this was a one off.
It was nice to be outside but these little black flies kept going near my wine and four of them dove in and I had to fish them out. Other than that, the service and food were great!
Great service at the Not Your Average Joe's Westwood! The manager Brian coordinated a terrific team along with our server Mia. All special requests were honored and food was delicious! My group to have a reunion from MA and NH had a nice visit. Thank you!
big mistake ekiminating the grilled chicken salad bowl from the menu. let me know when it;s back!
We had a great meal at NYAJs in Westwood. The service was very attentive and personable. The food was excellent and plentiful. I had the chicken parm and my spouse had the chicken caprese sandwich. We also really enjoyed the focaccia :-)
Today was just not a good night. They were very busy and the food took forever to come out to our table. The salads we ordered were perfect, but we had an issue with the grilled cheese sandwich and soup. the bread was very soggy and only one slice of cheese in the sandwich. The manager was very kind and apologized. We were not charged for the grilled cheese & we didn't want to order something else because the kitchen was very slow and we didn't want to wait to process a new order. Just a bad night. We have eaten here before with better service and good food. Will come again & hope it will be better. Overall the menu is a bit pricey, but can't complain about that.
As usual, we had an excellent experience at the restaurant. It was a very busy night, but the service and the food was as good as always.
We split a burger & salad and the waitress was so nice, the server brought the meals already divided and put on separate plates! I usually have to split it myself at other restaurants. Thank you, Judy
The burgers are so good! We both were delighted, mine a cheeseburger? My friend's had bacon. And dessert? She loved the Peanut Butter Thing? And I gleefully welcomed back the amazing crème brûlée. That should be a year-round dessert. Truly, and please. Our server was super nice.

Visiting from Fort Lauderdale during a conference. I googled this place and it looked good. That wasn't the case. Server forgot my appetizer. My main course arrived and I asked them to remake it as it would be cold by the time that I finished the soup. Steak tips arrived l were lukewarm and were chewey and not good. I ended up returning them. Server provided me with a bill for everything except the soup that he initially forgot. I don't want to work this hard for my dinner, that's their job. Greg, MOD came to my table after I asked for a manager and comped everything except the 2 espresso martinis, which were an actually good. It's a shame. You visit from another state. Read reviews of where to eat, get ready to go, get an uber, and end up with a poor experience. Needless to say, I won't be going back if I ever find myself in Canton, MA again.
We had an excellent experience dining out on the patio. My mobility challenged mom was able to walk in via the outside gate which made it very easy. The focaccia and dipping oil always delicious. I had the Greek wedge which was fabulous. The steak tips were perfect and the whipped feta was also delish. We very much enjoyed our meal and would go back.
Only complaint was my wife ordered a lobster sandwich. It looked like 2 teaspoons of lobster meet. Nothing inside the bun just on top . Very disappointing.
Service was great. Food was good but nothing amazing. The tuna tacos lacked flavor. I wouldn't get them again or recommend them. The bread and oil is probably the best part of the meal. Delicious. We got the watermelon sangria pitcher. About 4 glasses for the price of 2 so I think that was a good deal and it's very light and refreshing. Our meals were good, but could have been warmer. They were about lukewarm when they arrived. The flavor was good tho.
Last minute decision found us at Not Your Average Joe's. Perfect place for a great salad on a hot humid evening. Pace olf service, attentiveness of server, and quality of food was very high.
