I’ve been eating here since I worked in the plaza many years ago, food is great, service is great. Favorite items are the truffle mushroom swiss burger and the smash fries. Sulley was very friendly and helpful with questions about the menu!

Westwood Smashburger has been a favorite destination for me to get takeout food, especially on weekend evenings after work. In my more recent visits the service has been slower with long delays from ordering food to receiving food. However in my most recent visit this weekend there was a far longer, inexplicable delay. After about 45 minutes waiting for food several customers, myself included, requested a refund. There was no explanation of the delay let alone any indication that food was indeed being prepared. The cashier was clearly stressed and became defensive and sullen. She refused to refund customers' debit cards saying that all refunds were in cash and there was no cash on hand. Customers were becoming agitated so she relented and said she would look for some cash. She disappeared into a staff area to find cash and was very rude in her dealings with customers. Typically the debit transactions default to a tip added to the cost of the food but she became hostile saying that she would only refund the cost of the food not including the tip. I observed another customer with young children sipping sodas provided when the food was ordered and the cashier refused to refund the cost of the soda unless the kids threw the unfinished drinks into the trash. The entire experience was unacceptable and upsetting. I will not be visiting the Westwood Smashburger in the foreseeable future. It was an unfortunate experience that spiraled out of control to become a very upsetting experience.

Dylan greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome and happy, he recommended a crispy chicken with cheese bacon and avocado that was off menu and I am in love. Great food and a great host hats off to Dylan and his team!

Justin, who took my order was not only welcoming and friendly, but offered a couple of suggestions based on listening to me speak out loud to myself. Burger was absolutely excellent as were the sweet potato fries. I heard him given the very same service level to Dad and his young son. Very good food and excellent service. Rare and fantastic!

Had a smash burger. The taste was disguised by salt and mayonnaise. Overpriced and tiny portions. Too much salt on the fries. The service was good. Go to Wendy’s.

Food was good and the workers that were working were trying there best. Had a couple customers walk out. A worker that didn't want to work and went on break. Management needs to work on a few areas to make the process faster and better for the workers that were there.

Back to back bad experiences, this time with a foot long hair embedded in the burger... Had to pull it out of my teeth. Called management and because they didn't give me a receipt I couldn't get any refund. Terrible all around, maybe the worst diving experience I've ever had in totality.
