I ordered beef patty n coco bread never have I heard of throwing the cocoa bread in a separate bag in the beef patty in another bag bro it goes together with cheese The steam cabbage had no taste tasted sour. Make some food with some love. I don’t know if you’re Jamaican or you came from Jamaica, but whoever your chef is they need to step it up?

I’ve now visited Island Hut twice, and it just keeps getting better! The jerk chicken is perfectly seasoned and tender, and the rice & peas, cabbage, mac & cheese, and plantains are all fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. The staff provide warm, attentive service and great conversation. Highly recommend for anyone craving real Caribbean comfort food!

My husband and I wanted Jamaican food, so we went to The Hut in Westwood, MA. The gentleman who welcomed us was delightful. Once home, we were blown away by the exceptional flavors of our meal. I highly recommend this restaurant for authentic Jamaican cuisine!

Finally got around to going for the first time and my only regret is not having gone sooner. We got a curry goat entree, oxtail entree, stewed chicken entree, and a beef patty. All were excellent. Will be back soon.

First off I want to say the food is very yummy. The macaroni and cheese is delicious. The cabbage is delicious. The brown stew chicken is tender. I’m not a huge fan of the rice and peas because it’s a little bit sweet. The reason why I’m giving three stars is because they put absolutely no sauce at all. Typically the chicken would be in sauce and there would be sauce on the rice, but there Was none. If there was sauce on the rice and on the chicken, this would probably be 4.5 stars. I’m going to try the oxtail next time and hopefully they don’t do the same for that.

The mac & cheese was on point and the rice and peas, cabbage baby!!! I just can’t praise this place enough. Thank you for making us good Jamaican food-The best Jamaican food I’ve ever had.
