I've now eaten here in person and called for delivery - the food and service is amazing! We ordered from the Chinese appetizers, entrees, and sides and were very impressed with the food quality and consistency. They were able to deliver to our address promptly - the food was still hot! The service in person was equally great. Highly recommend!
The food is delicious. The people on the phone seem kind. They are always quick with delivery/takeout. It’s seriously great Chinese food, just as you’d expect it, no frills. The chicken wings, beef teriyaki, beef udon, crab rangoons, and scallion pancakes all hit. I wouldn’t personally go with pompous appetizers and I know it’s tempting considering the town we are in, but just stick to Chinese takeout food and you will surely be happy. Their sushi does look good!
We were bored/unhappy with the Chinese restaurants closer to home and the almost hidden village of Islington isn't that far away, you just have to look for it. The food was a cut above most places. The hot and sour soup was okay and the miso soup was good (helps if you like the generous amount of seaweed). The crisp-fried angel hair was first rate. The chicken with cashews had a lot of vegetables, mostly sweet peppers, alongside sliced (not diced) chicken and a modest amount...
